I was a little apprehensive after hearing how tiny most economy rate hotel rooms in Tokyo were. That's why I thought I had won the hotel room lottery when I first saw that my room on the 6th floor. Unless you are over 6 foot 3 inches tall and weigh over 300 lbs; then you should have no problems with cramped ness in a room like mine. I am 6 foot 2 and 230 lbs and the only cramped ness I felt was in the shower, when I stood on my toes, my head did just touch the ceiling. The room's furniture was older (it had a 1960's look about it) but completely functional; and the bed was actually big enough for two. Also my room had a closet, which I understand is rare in the economy rate hotels in Tokyo. For the price, this hotel was much much more than I expected; and if anyone complains about room size at this hotel?(unless they are 6 foot 4 and above) then they are really quite spoiled and should instead spend the extra 150 dollars a day to stay at a 5 star hotel while in Tokyo.
