All Review Photos I rate my lodgings on a few things; size of the room for the cost, cleanliness, friendliness and helpfulness of the front desk staff and proximity to other things to see and do in the area I am visiting. The Asakusa View Hotel did ...

We especially appreciated the very nice service in the hotel restaurant. The waiters were helpful and courteous. The location of the hotel was wonderful, near the Sensoji Temple and the river.

The rooms in the hotel are a little tired but the staff are friendly and the facilities good. It is also a good location which is slightly out of the way of the hustle and bustle but it is easy to get to anywhere that you want to see.

The Asakusa View Hotel was a great find. The location is perfect and we ( myself and 2 teenage children) had a beautiful view of the Sensoji Temple. The room was clean and spacious for Japanese standards. The hotel staff is very nice and some speak English. Asakusa is a wonderful area, where you can observe more traditional costumes. We absolutely loved Tokyo and intend to go back and stay at the Asakusa View Hotel.

The view was spectacular, and the rate we got online was a great bargain. It was also very handy for an overnight stay while changing planes at Narita -- we could see Senso-ji and shop the Nakamise-dori in the morning before going back to the airport. The room would have benefited from a little sprucing up; the spray in the toilet seat needed adjustment, and a couple of other minor repairs were needed --but it war really very pleasant. The main thing missing was a public bath.

This hotel is a good value when you consider that a large buffet breakfast was part of the package. Also, there is a subway line right out front.
