We've been to Tokyo a few times and never thought of staying in Akasaka but we'll definately stay here again. Good clean hotel, nice bar, very helpful staff, service was always prompt and the location - close to several metro lines and just across the road from a bunch of great restaurants (including one with a giant fugu fish model out the front - what more could you want?!)

We stayed at this hotel in September 2005. It has an amazing location, right across from the subway station, lobby is great, very modern, very clean, great service. The rooms are another story... although they are clean, they are really old,...

Our first trip to Tokyo and picked the hotel on a whim because it was a good price. Whereas here in America, low price usually means poor service quality, we walked inside and it was almost 5 star quality. The staff were extremely friendly...

The location of this hotel is great, at least for many business travelers. Metro station is just across the street. Big PLUS for the free Internet connection that was offered at least for our rooms! In general, the price is very good compared to the quality of the hotel! Very nice and flexible staff, even though English was not so well managed by all. We had double rooms for single travelers as we are aware the very small size of the regular single rooms in Japan. The price of 107 EUR was still very acceptable for a double room. You even got 2 breakfast ticket per day in a double room with a single occupancy;-) Maybe the only big hope for the hotel would be a better breakfast arrangements - both in selection of the buffet and style/interior of the restaurant. For instance, I miss fresh fried eggs and better yogurt selection.

Superb location, small room The hotel is conveniently located. Very close to metro station. My room (standart) was small. The refrigerator was a little bir noisy and I was advised to turn it off if I was disturbed. I’d expect a larger room for the price I’ve paid (it was not a bargain at all). I’d stay here again, but it won’t be my first choice.

Extremely convenient for the business visitor Location, location - it's the best for being central and having easy access to the underground system. Hotel entertainment areas, restaurants etc very good which is v. useful for business meetings. Bedroom in need of renovation (which is soon to be undertaken). Service, as in most Japanese hotels, impeccable.
