Hotel Ibis Kemayoran Jakarta

Just got back frm Jakarta & stayed in this hotel (came across this hotel in yahoo travel website). Got what we've expected from a 3-star hotel. Nothing really special. If your purpose of stay is to put your luggage & tour the city & come back to sleep with a little bit more feeling of security (as compared to lesser hotel/budget/backpackers) then i would recommend. Reason we chose this hotel in the 1st place is because it's part of an international group of hotels which makes us feel a little bit more secure since it's our 1st trip to Indonesia.

When I called the hotel to book a reservation - I was told this place is conveniently located throughout all the major shopping centres. It's practically located in the middle of nowhere and I was ripped off by being charged IDD charges for calls...

Short stay. Nice place to stay. Needs improvement in Breakfast to accomodate different travellers from around the world.

I am used to good 5* hotels and I was looking for something a little more homely.! This certainley was, a good value for money hotel, I would recommend it for the budget traveler.

My whole family was very disappointed with the room size. The agent should inform earlier whether this hotel are suitable for family or not. But luckily we only stayed for 1 night.
