Harris Tebet Hotel

It was an OK hotel for someone on a budget who prefers a hotel rather than a guesthouse. The breakfast was quite good except the rooms had very thin walls so you can hear literally everything which goes on next door to you. The staff had poor English communication skills and the wireless internet in the rooms was just too slow to be able to use.

Checking in was a breeze. Was offered freshly squeezed orange juice whilst checking in. Very nice gesture and the juice was quite good. Loved the lobby. Clean lines, airy and uncluttered. Very young staff and the uniforms make this hotel a rather hip and trendy one. Staff was friendly. Indonesians generally are. Room was good. Loved the orange colour that was all over the hotel. I have to agree that the wireless connection in the rooms was very weak. Kept getting disconnected. Bathroom was rather tiny but functional. So was the wardrobe. Breakfast was not great, small spread but sufficient. Rather tasty. Best yogurt i've had in a while. The only drawback that i could see with this hotel is the location, but that also depends on the purpose of your visit to Jakarta. Being near the CBD makes it quite ideal. Shopping and entertainment is further off, but being in Jakarta, the horrendous traffic jam makes anywhere you stay feels the same in terms of how long it takes to go anywhere. I would definitely re-visit this hotel. The price was right, service faultless, amenities basic but good.

internet is very much tooooo slow, you cannot use it. staff is nice and helpful. very nice rooms.

Service is exceptional with freindly staff ready to help. Condition was much better than expected.

Clean and cosy. Good for family travel with children.

The free internet service is an excellent service for guests. If I may suggest - perhaps the spot can be be aomewhere else i.e. not at the open space away from the present spot.

Good hotel-good pepole

staffs were nice and helpful but the hotel is too far away from airport. if you are just staying over one night at Jakarta, i recommend Sheraton Hotel. it is close to the airport.

Very good branding hotel with good personality to project it attractive image by positioning the hotel to attract the customer to return. Quiet environment and nice to stay for relexation. Good facilities available in the room with competative rate is good value for money like staying in the deluxe room. Lobby,restorant, meeting room and lounge areas well decorated and good arrangement are really interesting and refreshed your mine away from work .
