This hotel was recommended by my Indonesian friend. What an excellent choice! We stayed at their Executives Suites, we booked two suites as I brought my whole family for our yearly shopping trip. The rooms are very cozy, clean and so comfortable until you do not feel that you want to go out! There's a kitchen, dining table and a living room with sofas and TV. Two bedrooms with two bathrooms - all in excellent condition. All their staff are very friendly and they smile all the time. Will definitely come back to stay at the hotel, for sure! I recommend this hotel for Girlfriend getaway, Older travelers, Families with young children, and Families with teenagers. You'll gonna love it and will enjoy your stay.

I have stayed at this hotel before and experience was far from satisfactory. I returned on this occasion for two reasons. 1. I was told that the rooms were being refurbished. 2. The very large living rooms in the suites are ideal for my business needs. The refurbishment appears to consist only of repainting the rooms and replacing the dial-up Internet connection with broadband. The armies of cockroaches are still present. The broadband Internet connection is not very broad and works only intermittently. (The dial-up, while being achingly slow - 10 k -, was at least reliable). The telephone in the living room was so old that all the numbers had been worn off the keypad. The air-conditioning is still inadequate and is not capable of reducing the room temperature much below 25 degrees in the afternoon. An attempt to toast a slice of bread on the grill in the microwave resulted in a loud bang, the lights went out and the air-con stopped working. The restaurant food and service remain dreadful; a lamb chop took 25 minutes to arrive and was so tough as to be virtually uneatable. All that being said the living room is, so far as I'm aware, larger than that in any other Suites Hotel in Jakarta; the hotel staff are unfailingly courteous and cheerful as they do their best to be helpful amidst the crumbling infrastructure...

We stayed twice for a total of 8 nights. Nice large rooms and nice swimming pool. However the maintenance is poor to substandard. We once had to move because the shower is broken, the door lock is broken and the toilet dont flush. Other rooms have broken floor tiles and dirty walls. Room cleaning often miss items such as soap, towells and toilet paper at different times. Poor management and just substandard performance. 4 stars?? no way. 2 stars is more appropriate.

The Mercure Slipi hotel was vey clean with good facilities. Rooms are large and bright with kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom with tub. On the downside the choice for breakfast was not fantastic and the location of the hotel was not great..although close to the airport it takes around 45mins to get into the downtown area

The hotel is the worst one that I stay in my whole life, I have been travelled to more than 15 countries, with 40 cities. I have never seen a brand name hotel has such a worse cleaning and maintainence. For example, the towel is very dirty which I cannot use it after changing and changing. The bedline with a lot of black dot in it. The floor of the bathroom/kitchen is black, seems no cleaning is provided. The bathtub is worser than I expect, which you cannot even to take a bath. Shower is broken... It is not a star-rated hotel. And I will not stay at any Mercure group hotel again...
