Chennai Hotels

Many new Chennai hotels have opened up in recent years as the city is increasingly on tourists' routes. It's important to book ahead, as most accommodation is full up by noon and it can be tiring wandering the city in the extreme heat. There is a good range of budget hotels in Chennai, and, as you'd expect, prices are very low. Much of the accommodation is in Egmore, close to the railway station. For high-end hotels there is a similarly good choice. The Sheraton and Radisson are represented and there are also a few beach resorts, perfect to unwind after picking up the dirt of the city.
