we were in none smoking zone, but people just smoke there. curtain in bathroom with bad smell. location is good and food ok. it's a 3 star- hotol, definately no 5 star.

Conveninet location to the Shenzhen train station and border crossing to Hong Kong

This is amazing value for a 5 star hotel. It is a 2min walk to the LoWu train and multistorey shopping complex. We have returned twice and will use it any time that I am in Shenzhen ...Happy Customer from Australia

A comfortable night The Best Western is located in a newer neighborhood of Shenzhen (although admittedly the whole city is "newer"). The street is very dark and there is little in the immediate vicinity except a railway station but a five minute walk down the street and you are near large malls, convenience stores, massage parlors, etc. One drawback in the hotel’s street. Prostitutes tend to loiter outside the hotel and pass out cards however the neighborhood also felt safe. The hotel itself is nice with extremely comfortable beds and a great TV package with ESPN, CNN, etc. The staff was very helpful and friendly upon arrival and checkout. I would reccomend this hotel to someone coming to Shenzhen for one or two nights as a stop over to/from Hong Kong (about 30 minutes from the Shekou ferry terminal) however it is very far from the airport (45 minutes) and thus bad if you have an early morning flight. Traveler's tip for business travelers If staying here (or anywhere in China) make sure to contact the hotel ahead of time to get the address in Chinese characters in order to ease communication with taxi drivers.

Clean and good pricing on rooms. A good value.

I use this hotel a lot. Cleaning people are kind of not detailed...but the rooms are livable...not complaining a lot about this! Chinese restaurant is good and quiet...not like your typical Chinese restaurant where the din is really disturbing! There's ballroom dancing on the first floor during the weekends ... for 80 Rmb you could have lots of fun if you dance! The biggest advantage this hotel has is its proximity to the Shenzhen Train Station!

We initially booked 2 nights but stayed for a 3rd as it was such a nice hotel and great value. We returned the following week for another 2 nights before we went home as it was a 2 minute walk from a 6 storey shopping market! We will return again!

I only stayed one night in this hotel; however, I found the staff friendly and helpful. The room was very good in all respects. I would certainly stay there again

Well located to the Hong Kong Border crossing and shopping. English is not spoken by all staff, so be patient they will find someone to help you. Good western buffet breakfast.

This is a hotel value for money. Breakfast is good and room is spacious. Located near the Hk customs is one of the reason why i enjoy staying Value for money
