Shanghai Hotels

Hotels in Shanghai are abundant. Some of the most lavish are the old style hotels, centred around the beautiful buildings of the Bund. The prices here are not the cheapest but this is guaranteed to be an elegant place to sleep. Larger chains such as the Hyatt, Four Seasons and Ritz Carlton are available for top end tourists. Prices are higher than elsewhere in China, but still reasonable compared to Western standards. For budget travellers and backpackers, there is an ever increasing choice of hostels, and cheap Shanghai hotels. These are mostly to be found on the outskirts of town.
