Very good location at a walking distance from Tien an Men place and the Forbidden City as well as from the shopping aresa (Wangfujing). Nice hotel but very expensive restaurant. The reception staff could hardly speak English and was not far from unpolite. Could not managing to have an ADSL connection only low speed for 80 Yuhan per day.

A very solid Chinese tourist hotel in a fantastic location near Tianamen Square. Rooms are fairly spartan. Our only real complaint was that the beds were as hard as a piece of wood. The concierge spoke good English and arranged a very pleasant driver (who spoke Mandarin) for us for a trip to the Great Wall.

The Service and Kidness of people working there was very good. The problem are the bethroom is ancient and the carpet is so dirty. Whole bethroom is smell smoke and cannot be called a 4 star facility.

5 minute walk to Tiananmen Square Leave plenty of time for checkout, as front desk service can be a bit slow, since they have to check your room. The hotel has several restaurants featuring Asian and Western cuisine. There is also a travel agent office on site that is open very late at night. The beds are firm by western standards, but the rooms are spacious and clean. Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay Leave plenty of time for taxis. Traffic in China is ridiculous, and commutes to nearby destinations often take hours. If you can get a ride from a buggy by bike, that is usually much faster, although just as expensive as a cab.

The Dong Jiao Min Xiang is a fairly good value for the money, located very close to Tiananmen (easy walking distance). The neighborhood is quiet, and fairly easy to get to, but the taxi drivers may not be familiar with the location (Dong Jiao Min Xiang Jie was not marked on my map, either).

The hotel was acceptable by price standards. Rooms are spacious and clean bathrooms. It was close to Tianamen Square and the Forbidden City (about a 10 minute walk). There is also a small store for biscuits and drinks in the hotel and a small agency to arrange tours which is very useful. No swimming pool or gym. All in all, an OK hotel but not great.

The location is good, just a few mins walk to the tourist area. However, staffs in the hotel are kind of have connection with the taxi driver, it costs much higher than the meter.

Centraly located-Good Time Hotel was very clean except for tub which had a small amount of mold. Bed was very firm got used to it after two weeks. Restaurants were good, menue was a little strange, Recoment "hot pot" dinner. Not much english understood but we got by. Traveler's tip on shopping Oriental plaza about 15min walk, taxi will not take you too short.
