Beijing Capital Airport Hotel

If you ONLY need a place to sleep near the airport, then it's OK. The room was very small. The shower cutain did not reach the floor and the bathroom floor was all wet after a shower. I was disappointed that there is nothing of interest in walking around the hotel. Upon check out, we were charged 2RMB for consuming a tea bag in the room that is usually complimentary in other places!

Hotel was Ok staff were friendly but the airport bus pick service was very poor. I was kept waiting over 45 minuits for the shuttle bus from Beijing airport to the hotel. At 1.am this rather defeated the object of using this service when i could have stayed in a much better hotel in Beijing and wasted less time. The reason was that I was the only passenger and they kept me waiting while they tried to get other passengers to fill the bus. Airport staff were rude and made excuses about the bus being in a traffic jam (at 1.am !!!) they were not interested in helping me when I was tired after a long delayed flight from Nanjing and needed to get to the hotel.When I finally got on the bus the driver was curt and abrupt. The whole experience was very unsatisfactory.

This is an excellent "transit hotel". Very convenient to Beijing Airport with free shuttle bus. Good breakfast, reasonably fast Internet in rooms, easy ordering in nice Japanese resteraunt for those daunted by ordering meal in Chinese resteraunt. A barga

Unwelcoming reception, corridors flooded and strewn with dirty sheets and dryers, room grubby and worn.

Very good budget hotel, only thing is that, carpets do get dirty and it shows.

Room's floor always gets water from the shower - an easy-to-fix construction defect. To be fair, this appears to be a Chinese thing - all three hotel rooms I stayed in during my last trip to China had mild "wet floor" issues due to leaking pipes or not high enough shower thresholds. The hotel is located really close to the airport, which is good for overlays, yet there is no easy to find alternative food and entertainment services in the walking distance. You got stuck with the hotel's, which are decent yet expensive and not top notch.

This room was perfect for an airport hotel. Within the hotel there is a restaurant, coffee shop, and barber. The room comes with cable tv and fast dsl internet. If you are looking to vacation in Beijing then this hotel is NOT for you as it is far away from the city. However, the drive to the airport was only about 5 minutes away so if you just need to lay over in Beijing then this place is great.

Very nice place although the taxi drivers at the airport wouldn't take me there. I found a very nice man that gave me a ride otherwise, I don't know how else I'd get there. I didn't know if the hotel had a shuttle at the airport that took people to the hotel but it worked out fine in the end. It was a nice place and perfect for someone who has a stop over in Beijing and has no time to go to the center of town.

The hotel staff was very courteous and the room was clean with a nice bathroom. The only objection I had was that there was a stale cigarette smell permeating the bed covers. I had asked for a non-smoking room, but I think that they didn't understand my request - or didn't have any available. The shuttle service is very convenient.

Location is 1 km from airport so good if you want to be in proximity to the airport--bad if you want to be close to the city--cab ride to downtown is about 45 min. The hotel has a nice coffee shop with games (chess, cards) where you can also get a a drink. Other than that, it is fairly remote. I would only stay there if I was trying to make an early flight.
