Caribbean Flavor This is a good family location. Hotel service: -- Cleaning- Ok. Food Service- All you can eat buffet. Resort style living. Food Quality- Heavied up on the veggies. Not for foodies though. Beach- Very hot sand because of the sun. Fine for families with small kids. Hotel staff- Front desk guys were fine. Female office manager’s top notch manager. The resort’s Social TEAM (yellow shirts) did a fine job (especially, the Sub-saharan African (black guy with blond hair)). Local activities- The resort is it. You are a good ways away from Carthage & Tunis. Taxi service- Superb. Rooms- Ok. Spartan. You’re not going to be there much anyway. Hotel clients- Russians and Germans. Nightlife- Great for families nightly entertainment. Cost- Value versus the hotels. Merchants- Ok Traveler's tip on dining If you want a great dinner then go to Sidi Bou Said or downtown Tunis. The restaurants and cafes overlooking the docks are wonderful. Tunisia’s is safe. Tons of security. It is safe as long as you’re not the kind of person looking for trouble. Otherwise, the views of the Mediterranean Sea will remain in your mind.
