This is really a budget hotel which, for the price, offers clean but basic accommodation. The rooms are a good size with balcony (no view though). My bathroom sink was partially blocked and the taps were loose. Lots of hot water though for the powerful shower. Soap supplied but no shampoo. The breakfast was very poor, the glass of fresh orange juice being the only notable point. In addition there was just some not very fresh bread (they did toast on request) and a dry pain au chocolat with tea or coffee. That said there was a great cheap cafe across the road where we ate well. The loaction is in the new city about a 20 minute walk from the Medina. Not a problem as buses and taxis are cheap (after negotiation). The desk staff were helpful although the booked taxi for our reurn to the airport dropped us some 200 metres from the terminal to avoid paying a parking fee. If you are on a budget an OK place to stay, if you want some more luxury look elsewhere.

Good service and functional but very noisy. A functional hotel with good service. However it was very very noisy, the rooms were not very soundproof and the terrace bar on the roof made a lot of noise through the ceiling to our room on the 5th floor. OK for budget travellers but not for light sleepers!

Hard to judge really. For budget travellers it is better to search for much cheaper small hotels in the Medina (however there is no air conditioning, and only shared bathroom) for 6 EUR per night per person. For romantics or business I'd probably go for some Riad. It's 3 times more expensive, but 6 times better. The hotel has all the nice things though - air conditioning, shower in the room, balcony, TV (if anyone uses it on the holiday). The staff in the reception is very helpfull and speaks enough english. Food in the restaurant is very good. Cinema and Internet are next to it. Excellent for families I'd say. There is everything you'll need for a minimum price. You'll need to rent a car (or use taxis alot), cause the hotel is 20 minutes walk from the medina. And this is a very long walk - 20 minutes along busy road with oldest diesel cars I have seen. The fumes are unbearable.

A nice hotel. Very good location - only 20 minutes walk to the Jmaa al Fnaa square - and trust me... that was a nice walk indeed. Small restaurants right across our hotel entrance, were a big relief for us... hungry people. The area is actually full of restaurants and some night clubs but it becomes a bit noisy at night. Stuff was helpful and very pleasant...I think they made us feel comfortable - especially the unforgetable waiter who served our breakfast, with that constant smile upon his face. When we checked in, there was no soap in the bathroom... and no phone, so we had to go downstairs and let the reception know. We were provided with soap immediately, but the missing phone was not replaced until we left. Breakfast was rather poor - not to mention the spoiled milk we were given one morning - which of course was replaced immediately with an apology. Would we stay there again... I guess so...I think so... yes we would...

Just a short bus or taxi ride from the Jema el Fna, the Tachfine provides excellent budget accommodation. Staff were friendly and efficient and the room facilities were very good, with a sizeable balcony. We would not hesitate to stay there again and can

The staff are very friendly and helpful and the location is good; it is in the new town of Guelliz, which is a 5 minute taxi ride from the old medina. However, do not expect the cleanness of a 5-Star hotel but at this price that's what you get. In genera

Good Hotel but not if you're used to the Hilton The best place I ever ate was in the square, in a place called Chez Chegrouni. Amazing chicken and couscous for around 3 pounds

There are no good things I can tell about this hotel. But the worst thing was that it was extremely noisy. Placed in between bar at the top floor, night bars and shop with alcohol next to it. In a very noisy area.
