This hotel has been open for about a year but the advertised garage was not operational nor was the fitness centre/spa/gym. The swimming pool is in the shade for most of the day and unheated. For a large supplement one can use the pool at the sister hotel down the road. The meals were uninteresting and the menu was repetitive. There was no non-smoking section in the dining room. The hotel does not serve alcoholic drinks of any kind, the only hotel in our month in Morocco not to do so. However the staff were friendly and helpful. It is advertised to be 10 minutes on foot to the gates of the old town. It is 1.94km on foot to the gate. Hicham el-Guerrouj, the Moroccan Olympic gold medallist, could do it in 10 minutes, but not us.

Noisy building work next door This is a perfectly adequate package hotel but be warned that there is a huge building site next door. It is best to get a room on the street side. People were begging the desk to change rooms when I was there. The works also overlook the swimming pool and it's quite noisy.

Range of time for breakfast was great (630-1030) as was the selection; GREAT view from our room (428); cool air conditioning; staff was always willing to help and very quick about it. Everything except the pool cost extra!; staff a bit clueless about finding local information (phone number, locations); some long-broken umbrellas by the pool.

Fine Hotel Fine hotel, pleasant efficient staff, excellent breakfast with a wide choice, good large rooms which were beautifully cleaned, good public areas. Decent restaurants and cafes close by. It is a modern hotel with little ambience (as everything works) and it is a fair walk to the medina, you need a taxi (taxi prices varied from 10dm to 50dm). A previous comment was about room safes, the man came in 5 minutes to set ours.

the only thing that let this hotel down was the food and service in the resturant the breakfast was ok but the evening meal was not worth leaving your room for. the hotel is a good walk form the square but is on a nice main street and a taxi only costs about 10 dirhams about 1 euro.

not a 4 star hotel as we know it! Overall the place was fine. There were a couple of things I'd expect from an average 4 star hotel. A shower that works (ours was an odd thing attached to half way up the wall which would be ok for a dwarf) and the breakfast was really poor. That said, the staff were very good at providing us with restaurant recommendations when we asked for them

Very Elegant Hotel with kind staff although a little disorganised Lovely Hotel with great views, but the safe n our room did not work correctly and despite mentioning at reception numerous times the person who knew the code was never there. V frustratingly we had nowhere to leave valuables and I'm not sure the reception stored them in a safe. A little disappointing when the hotel is rated so high.
