Good value money accomodation with continental breakfast, unfortunately no veg or fruit just rolls, jam, butter and boiled eggs. Hotel is situated close to old city about 15 min walk to main square. Go for room with view on old city, spectacular. When you take a taxi from the airport pay no more than 50-60D,its only 10 min away.Make sure you ask for Ryad Mogador MARRAKESH opposite to bus station as there are 3 Ryad Mogador hotels. Do not pay more than 20-30D for taxi from the hotel to any part of city in Marrakesh, they always ask for 100D!!!Next to reception door is a big supermarket just like Tesco, cheap and quality food, drinks and very good bakery.

A reasonably good hotel - room facing onto major avenue & bus station wasn't as noisy as expected, and was very clean & proper. Major grumble would be reception & general information NOT found there or offered by staff, (where was swimming pool, dining room, local supermarket, transport to Atlas mountains etc.) but I found this to be a common failing in Marrakech and Essaouira

Very good hotel overall, There was 3 of us, and we stayed in a triple room which was very clean and roomy. Air conditioning was working well, it did have a problem at some point, but they came and fixed it straight away. Small TV, but we didn't go there to watch TV anyway. Pool was small, but there weren't that many people using it, so it was fine. Breakfast is the best I have had within Moroccan Hotels (we were travelling around the country). Location was it was great, you have a supermarket and an internet cafe next door, in addition to it being 5 minute walk from the souk and old medina.

No toilet papers, no bath towels. Walls are very dirty Air condition did not work TV does not change channels Not good service from the recceptionist. We asked for an adapter to charge our phone/computer... not very good help. the breakfast was so poor and the coffee was discusting. I had to clean the table at the restaurant so we can sit and have some breakfast.

Using the word 'Ryad' was misleading. A ryad is a small but quaint guest house. This place wasn't small and quaint. I won't complain much, it was fine. A bed a shower and the BBC. It's all we needed. We didn't go to Marakesh to spend it in our hotel room

Good value for money! The hotel is conveniently situated near the old town & busstation. Staff was friendly. The room is simple but ok for the money. The food isn't spectacular, but ok if you don't want to go out to eat. However eating at the market is more fun, cheaper and tastes better.

In our opinion this hotel deserves better than a 3-star rating. Room is small but very clean. Bathroom is also small but again very clean. Not all bathroom sundries are provided but the supermarket is just downstairs. Fruits are fresh and cheap. Only drawback seems to be the pool which is only good for a dozen swimmers. In Marrakesh avoiding the pool for more exciting/adventurious pastimes is the obvious choice. The Medina is only 30 minutes' walk away.

One thing we didnot like, every morning at 05.00 hours untill 07.00 the imam did his prayers. They used a cd and we did ask to stop this because we could not sleep. Holidays means to relax a bit but that didnot work. Whats going on there? It seems to me there is going a war between the hotel and the supermarket

It's a perfect 3 Star hotel, 2 steps away from the Bus Station and a nice walking distance of Jma El-Fna (interesting stroll through a less comercial souk)and Ville Nouvelle (with its quiet restaurants). The quality of the rooms is OK, allmost like a 4 star hotel, the service in the lobby etc. is basic, but if you are independent and looking for a quiet and clean place to stay, it's your right choice. OK, it hasn't charm... and you are not in the center.. but it's a good place to rest and enjoy good amenities for 2 or 3 days in Marrakesh. PS: bring yout own bath plug - the Hotel doesn't provide it, saying it's against their rules... but not against ours... after hours in the souk... ;-)
