Riads Seduction

Riads Seduction

1, Rue Mahjoub Rmiza - Menara Gueliz - 400000 Marrakech

The Riads Seduction comprises traditional Moroccan two storey residences with Andalusian style arches and inner courtyards, located in Marrakech's medina. Each riad features five guestrooms, all of which open onto patios and have Arabesque decor and Moorish tiling, and complimentary local calls and bottled water and bathrooms with showers and complimentary toiletries. The Moorish style dining room is available for private hire and serves authentic Moroccan dishes. Guests can relax with a glass of mint tea in the courtyard or on the roof terrace. Meeting facilities are available for use by guests visiting on business, and dry cleaning services can be arranged on request. The hotel is located in the medina, which is home to a maze of market stalls, restaurants and cafes, culminating in the impressive Djemaa el Fna square, where guests can witness snake charmers, fire breathers and wedding dances. Those interested in the area's history can spend a day at the Marrakech Museum, one kilometre away. Marrakech Menara Airport is four kilometres away, with an approximate driving time of 20 minutes. Please note: Riads Seduction comprises several small riad style properties. The description and pictures indicated on this page are generic and correspond only to the category of the riads possible to book and not to the specific property where guests will stay. There is a mandatory transfer attached to this category of riads, as they are located in the narrow streets of the Medina and are therefore difficult to locate. Return transfers cost EUR 17 per person. This amount will be added during the booking path, so please take this into account when making your reservation.

Good but could do better Riads Seduction covers several riads. We stayed in Riad Yamsara in the Mellah. Everything was fine except the attention to detail. We had to ask for soap and a tumbler to drink from. Bottled water was not supplied and phone messages about our trip arrangements were not passed on until we asked. Or is this just Morocco?

Beautiful decor in the Riad Amani A must is the Cafe Arabe. Absolutely wonderful with both western and local dishes on the menu. The chocolate souffle dessert is a must, the best I have ever tasted! Its very Buddha Bar in style with a fab roof terrace for cocktails.

Lovely Riad in slightly dodgy spot Unless you enjoy being sworn at, avoid the north of Museu Marrakech.

Riad Irene You can eat in the riad for dinner at a great price. Good if you are coming in on a late flight.

Adventure The lodging is fantastic. It is just finding the lodging that can be a little frustrating. It is worth tipping some of the local kids a dollar to help you find the riad the first time or two. Once you get your bearings in the souks you will be ok.

a taste of actual morocco bring cash (ie dollars/sterling/euros)into the country or a debit card to exchange for local currency. ask for small amounts of local currency ie 10,20,50 dirhams as lots of places dont haev change for the usual 200 dirham notes they give you & you have to tip everywhere you eat/drink.

Great hotel Stayed in a delightful riad hidden down back streets. Would definitely stay there again. The only problem we had was the transfer to the Riad on arrival - no one was at the airport to meet us. Lukcily a helpful local helped us out by calling the info line number on our voucher!
