Moroccan House

3, Rue Loubane Gueliz Centre Ville - Marrakech

The Moroccan House Hotel is located in the city centre of Marrakech. It is within easy walking distance to many major attractions, theatres and shopping centres. We have 54 rooms in total, which are allocated on 5 floors. Each room is different from the others with the possibility of choosing the colour of your room. They are all equipped with satellite TV, a heating, an air-conditioning, a direct-dial telephone, an internet access, a safe and a bathroom with a bath tub. In our restaurant, you can discover Moroccan cuisine and you can even participate in preparing some delicious Moroccan meals. Breakfasts are served from the buffet. Fitness and recreation is another major concern of our hotel. We provide a fine swimming pool, while a massage room beckons the guests for a refreshing session. The hotel also houses a hammam to unwind the guests in a most traditional way.

Its a pittoresque place where all rooms have some sort of a special design, tends towards some folk-kitsch, but makes a difference from the avarage Gueliz mid ranges. The staff is absolutely friendly and helpful, thats a great plus. breakfast is taken on the roof terrace, and there is a heated tent if the morning is chilly. Its located in a quiet side street but close enough to get to all Gueliz facilities including transport to the Medina. I didn't try the restaurant and the hammam. Its a good option to stay if you look for something in that price range.

Very nice traditional moroccan house design, it is in a good location and the services are very good. The hotel staff seem very freindly, the hotel seems to be like living in within a morocaan family.

Good location, good clean hotel. bathroom was old looking and needs updating, puts you off from having showers. Heater in the room also was playing up (smthg u dont need when its really cold in Dec). APrt from that, staff were excellent and friendly. However breakfast needs to be more than just cold items on a table....some eggs and toast would have been nice!!!

we really enjoyed our stay here. the hotel staff were really friendly and the room was spotless. the walk to the square is too far about 20-30mins but taxis will take tourists for 20 dirhams we couldnt find any taxi with their meter on for tourists so negotiate before you get in as prices really vary. The main square is excellent and the sights and sounds are something to behold! this hotel is slightly further out but with taxi prices so cheap it is not a problem and a real bargain for the service and cleaniness of the place. also a word of warning beware of people saying that they work in your hotel and they will take you to a one day sale! the real answer is that they don't and will take you to a tannery and then they put the hard sell on! We loved the madness of the place and look out for great marakesh english such as 'fish and chips' and 'primark prices!'

We were really pleased when we arrived to see that it lived up to its reputation. It has extrememly freindly staff, who are willing to help you out and practice their English. The outside swimming pool looked lovely, but we didnt get a chance to try it out as it colsed a bit early for us. Breakfast seemed to mostly be various Morrocan biscuits, some French bread and basic cereal, I would have liked to see fruit and an alternative to the biscuits, but that might have been me getting there too late! Overall, we were sad to leave, the place is gorgeous and the people are fantastic

Hotel was clean, very well decorated, lovely food at reasonable prices. Staff was very pleasant. Swimming pool was small but enough for relaxing time. The best thing was the air-con, left it on all night, so we did not need to worry about mosquitoes. The breakfast on the rooftop was very good, especially if done early in the morning. I will recommend HB instead of BB, better value for money.
