Excellent Oasis of calm and relaxation, great Hammam and spa treatment. All at a superb location for wandering and site seeing. Hotel staff were friendly and efficient. Would certainly use this hotel again.

Perfect location Really enjoyed this hotel. It has a central courtyard with a swimming pool around which are restaurants and 'random' soft furnished rooms where you can lose yourself with a book if you want to escape the bustling streets of the medina. Great location, two minutes from Jemma square to the right or to Mohammed V avenue to the left. Despite its central location the hotel remains an oasis of calm. Great restaurants, an excellent piano bar and good service throughout.

Try to get a room overlooking the inner quadrangle of the hotel. We booked a Medina room which is cheaper; but it is worth paying a bit more.

Absolutely fabulous Just after we left the hotel we were approaced by a guy who claimed he worked in the hotel and was on his way home and was happy to show us around. Don't be fooled. If lost there are plenty people offering directions to everywhere else apart from where you want to go. Be prepared to get lost in the markets, but you will eventually pop out to where you can get a taxi.

The hotel is in a wonderful location: very close to the main square and the souk, but easy to find from anywhere in the medina, because of its proximity to the Koutoubia - just head for the spire and you can find it again. The staff are very friendly and helpful; the rooms well-equipped and very clean, breakfasts are excellent. My only complaint was that the decor had been "westernised" to appeal to less adventurous travellers.

Great location, lovely hotel, service OK If you want a hotel in the middle of Marrakech you'll be hard-pressed to find one better; it's a very short walk from all the action. The hotel staff, particularly reception, were a bit aloof and often required more than one reminder for simple requests. The view from the rooftop pool is first class.

the hotel made our stay a fantasy rather than an ordinary trip. the hotel is a greathyde a way, its location enabels to go to the souk and the square easily, and to come back to the coolness of the spa and the pool during noon time, when it is too hot to walk around

beautiful hotel, great place to stay beautiful hotel, excellent central location. calm haven from the busy outside medina. full of western luxurys, which may not suit all for a traditional north afician experience. but for us this hotel made our stay.... hotel has 4 pools- 3 outdoor and 1 indoor ( in the spa) a great heated pool on the roof terrace, excellent appointed sun loungers, clean towels( as many as needed). 4 restaurants- all very good- especially the indian on the roof terrace. Breakfast lovely, very fresh and good to set you up for the day. We had a mini suite. lounge area with great terrace to get all the afternoon sun, and huge TV, large bed, and lovely dressing area-and bathroom, but no separate lounge (attachd to bed area)
