I don't recognise goonemooses' description of this hotel! We had an excellent week here. The staff were courteous and friendly, the rooms (and public toilets) were clean and well serviced and the food was excellent. The central gardens are really tranquil, with a free outdoor swimming pool (no takers in January!). If I have a gripe, it is that the indoor pool was not free - about ?6 a session for adults. Otherwise I can thoroughly recommend this hotel.

In all my years travelling, I have never experienced a hotel so eager to cut costs. Every possible feature or service at the hotel was designed to scrape as much money as possible from their guest. Asking them to recommend a day-trip to the Atlas Mountains, they suggested I buy a map from the gift shop and she would then show me where I could go. What 5* hotel has no toilet paper in its public toilets!!

Our Stay In Marrakech If you only have one "posh" meal out in your life, it should be at the Dah Moha Restaurant in Marrakech. Fantastic.

I am a seasoned traveler and retired airline employee and found this hotel very nice...The front desk was especially helpful and friendly and I only speak English...If I ordered anything to my room, from a baby bed for my grandchild to a bottle of water, it was there in 5 minutes...The restauants are varied and numerous and the location safe and in the middle of things...For Americans, we look for security and privacy and this hotel had it from the gated entrance to security people walking the grounds...The gardens had every blooming plant you can imagine and our room even had a large balcony overlooking the palm trees and pool...If you are not satisfied with the value you are getting, then you will never be satisfied...It was delightful for 4 nights from checkin to checkout...Thank you Hotel Kenzi Farah...

It was DIRTY! The sink leaked. The staff was slow to take care of guests' needs, rude and poorly trained. The food was HORRIBLE. The safe didn't work. The staff didn't fix it over three days and still tried to charge me. The TV was out.

Went to Kenzi Farah hotle in May 2006. I liked the cleanliness of the room and hotel in general. There are plenty of resturants in the hotel. Staff is gracious and very pleasing.

The hotel has great facilties - lovely heated pool in stunning gardens. Many of the hotels in Marrakech have pools that aren't heated or are in the shade - I did my research! The spa is also amazing! But they do promote having an indoor pool and gym, which is actually in the spa and costs around £7 to use each time. The service at the hotel isn't the best if you're english - they seem to favour the french residents! You have to ask for everything several times. Food at breakfast is very good."

We stayed at this hotel last week, and while a lovely hotel, there was an element of Fawlty Towers about! It took a ridiculously long time to check in and at no stage were the facilities of the hotel or our board basis confirmed to us. We struggled with our air conditioning and even reported it to reception, who promised to send someone up but no one appeared soo we finally went to bed - only to be told when we asked again the next morning that we needed to open our window as the air- conditioning doesn't work during the winter season!!
