The best things are swimming pool and garden. You can have a nice breakfast (lunch) on the balcony in front of the swimming pool and viewing the garden. Room size is small but bathroom is ok; both are clean. Service is good and nice.

Golden Tulip is a very pleasant hotel set in a good position. The room was quite adequate for our needs the fridge meant we could keep fruit and drinks nice and cool. The food in the restaurant was 5/10 so we ate most of the time outside. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was adequate only if you were down early.Taxis were easily arranged being outside the hotel whenever you needed them and good value. All in all a very pleasant stay and if i had to choose again i would stay at The Golden Tulip.

I didn't like several things: I had the chance to see their kitchen and the fact that they don't wash plates and cutlery, they wipe it with napkin and then put them as clean! Then, food for breakfast is always the same, and it's like that for over two years now... They speak Arab, French and you're lucky if they understand English a little bit... Overall, I won't be coming back for sure!

Well located Hotel. Do not trust taxi drivers or seemingly pleasant locals offering information. Do not buy anything in the Souk buy only from "Ensemble Artisans", a Govt run complex in Medina who price goods and are a lot cheaper.

A nice place to stay Overall a comfortable hotel. The beds were extremely comfortable. Staff very helpful. The dinner menu nothing to boast about. Could have been better. The surroundings were very appealing

Not Impressed You must bargain. Never give more than 50% of what is asked. The correct price is probably about one third of the asking price

Nice enough A perfectly adequate 4 star hotel although for a similar cost you can stay in the more atmospheric riads of the medina, which I very much preferred.
