Stayed 3 nights, (Sept 06) 2 rooms on 4th floor of this beautiful Riad situated in ideal location not far from the Mosque and the sites we wanted to visit. Roof top terrace very pretty. Peaceful/serene with the added benefit of helpful young staff who met all our request with a smile including arranging a mini bus and driver to take us to High Atlas Mountains for the day. We have no hesitation in recommending this Riad to all ages. (We are 5 ladies 40/50 age group).

We were really impressed with Dar Atta. We stayed there the first night we arrived in Marrakech and we left to go to Fes the next day but I'm sorry we didn't go back to Dar Atta when we returned to Marrakech. As we were just staying one night we didn't see how good or bad the location was but not bad from the airport or train station and it appeared on the map to be close to Marrakech attractions such as the Jemaa el Fna. Dar Atta itself was tranquil, beautiful and peaceful. The staff were excellent, at hand at all times, and great at organizing taxi's for us. The room was cleverly designed and really pretty. Our breakfast in the morning was delicious with excellent coffee and an array of Moroccan foods, fruit and bread. Our only disappointment was that the view from the roof terrace wasn't the most spectacular we had seen...hardly a complaint though!

The staff at Dar Atta are exceptionally helpful and genuine. We had a missing suitcase and the staff allowed us to use their contact details, and in our absence they also phoned the Marrakech airport every day to check the status. Once the bag arrived to the airport (a week after we had stayed at dar Atta) they contacted us. The room was lovely and so was the breakfast.

don't be fooled by the facade of dar atta because inside what looks like a rundown building is actually a beautiful, tranquil oasis in the hustle of marrakech. this guesthouse was the highlight of my stay, exotic bedrooms, excellent service, delicous mint tea and a great veiw from the roof terrace which has the biggest, most comfortable loungers, perfect for sunbathing or star gazing. we simply loved it, including my hard to impress 12 year old son!
