The Sheraton is one of the nicer chain hotels in Casablanca, and subsequently not for the budget traveler. You are immediately ensconced in that traditional Maghrebi hospitality as you are met in the hotel lobby by a greeter, festooned in a rather...

Myself and my sister stayed at the Sheraton Hotel in February 2004 for 5 nights. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and the check in and check out's were very quick. The beds were extremely comfortable and the location of the hotel is fantastic. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Sheraton hotel from 15/04 to 18/04 this year. The location was near to the bus station. The staff were very helpful and friendly when checking in; room service was prompt (if they don't bring your food within 30 mins of your order it is free - unfortunately ours came quickly!) and overall we enjoyed our time there. The Sheraton beds are amazing. Highly recommended.

No sufficient staff at the reception, not very friendly, rooms need renovation. No complementary water, small bottle for tooth brushing costs 5 €. Mini bar extremely expensive. Should have good German TV channel instead of Fox."

My sons and I spent time in Casablanca recently and stayed at the Sheraton Hotel. The location is good short walk at any time of day or night. The staff was very pleasant and the security was good. The rooms were clean, modern and even roomy, by Casablanca standards. Check out was quick and courteous. We will definitely stay here again!

The Sheraton Hotel in Casablanca is fine if you are on business and only using their business suite and for sleeping in. I would not recommend the hotel for those on holiday, the pool area is covered in Pigeon muck and is sheltered from the sun from 14:00 onwards. And its location is in a particularly rundown part of town right beside the docks.

Service is terrible. No help what so ever! There were at least 30 flies in the room. Staff offers no help. When we complain, they said they will sent up housekeeping. No one showed up. We killed the flies on our own. We left dead flies on the windows and walls. Should be ashame to call them self Sheraton. No thanks, next time will stay at the a cleaner, 1/3 the price IBIS hotels.

We used this hotel for a two night stopover before travelling elsewhere in Morrocco to attend a wedding, and for this it served its purpose ie the meals and rooms were adaequate taking into account the money paid. However, if we had been staying here for any lenghth of time, particularly with young children, we would have been less than happy. Our biggest gripe relates to the swimming pool at the rear of the hotel, which in essence is a watering hole for thousands of feral pigeons. Looking out of the bedroom window at the watering frenzy was bad enough, but a closer examination revealed a health hazard, the area being covered with pigeon excrement. It was 42% and it would have been nice to have cooled down in the pool, but it was not to be. Instead we visited the Hyatt Regency hotel just up the road, and paid to use their pool for two days. This was top quality, and so was the hotel itself. If we go to Casablanca again we will give the Sheraton a miss, and book in at the Hyatt.

This was an excellent hotel with very good facilities, the staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable and couldn´t do enough to help. One bar has a 6.30 - 8 happy hour (BOGOF) and the restaurants are very good and not expensive (breakfast is excellent too). The hotel is located 2 mins walk from the medina, 20 mins from the Hassan II mosque & 20 mins from the Corniche in a petit taxi (make sure the driver quotes you or sets the meter running!). The area surrounding the hotel isn´t great but has a few shops/bars to have a drink in. All the locals are friendly and like to say ´bonjour´!"
