This is the worst 5* hotel we have ever visited - service was appalling - lowlights were tracking down cutlery, napkins and glasses ourselves for breakfast, not being allowed 2 towels each by pool, terrible food & service for lunch. If you stay at hotel, pls minimise stress and do not eat there. Rooms are clean & pleasant - hotel bit 1970s - there are far more nicer hotels in agadir. We complained 4 times verbally and in writing but still have not received a response

Great first impressions as you walk into the hotel. A very clean and welcoming hotel. On arrival you are seated in the main lobby while served with a Moroccon tea and a hot towel to refresh yourself. You are asked to fill out some forms while the reception takes your passports and arranges the check-in for you. The room we had was very nice however the views were not great - a hotel is being constructed on one side of the Sofitel so there is a building site view however there is no noise if the windows are kept shut. We didnt really spend much time in the bedroom so this didnt really bother us so much. The hotel has great faciltites which include a big swimming pool and a smaller heated pool. There are plenty of sunloungers and hammocks to relax on around the pools. The breakfast was wonderful - it never got boring as there is always so much to choose from. The ASIAN-MOROCCON restaurant was great too and service was also very friendly. There is a night club which is simply out of this world - every night there is a live band and a DJ so you can dance the night away or smoke Shisha and take it easy. Overall a fantastic experience - the only factor I would point out that the level of English isnt very high so please speak to a member of management if you need something dealt with if not understood the first time.

A great hotel, loved our stay Don't drive in Morocco unless you have a death wish. There seems to be a national obsession with overtaking ... anywhere, anytime, anyhow.

I checked-in very late and liked to see that the front desk service was very professional. It was great to have a drink at the disco, right in the hotel. Very nice deco. Breakfast with large selection and excellent freshly squeezed orange juice. Nice staff, sometimes too much readymade politeness. The only drawback is that everybody expects a tip for anything. But I would go there again, definitely.

Goodies: -Food was excellent -Staff was very nice and friendly -Lobby & night Club & outdoor recreation were very clean and organized as it should be. Bad Views: -Checking in may take 15-25 minutes -The Bar is beside the Asian Restaurant (very smelly and noisy and can't enjoy the music) -The Internet Connection unavailable in the rooms -During my stay, the Wi-Fi connection was unavailable, and when they fixed it, I discovered the price was VERY high DR 100/Hr. (the hotel next door also 5 star charges DR 50/24Hr)

Very good hotel, but work going on on the beach. Very good and recent hotel. Rooms are top, with Sofitel beds (i.e. very comfy). Service is mostly good, though it is annoying to get suggested cash payment for food services. Very good trendy "So" restaurant, providing a good break from Moroccan cuisine, buffet restaurant expensive if not in your package. Only negatives are: pool is not heated (whilst waves are strong enough to keep you at the pool) and there are works to build a promenade between the hotels and the beach, so be on the beach is currently not an option. And having Non-smoking floors would be a plus, even if they changed our room after a day.
