Just back from a week at Kenzi Europa and it was great, first impression from the front was disappointing(didn`t look as grand as some) but once inside we found ALL staff very friendly and helpful , our room was in a lovely location overlooking pool and gardens, it was spotless and cleaned daily. Sunbeds difficult to bag as some holiday makers put towels on before 8am and didn`t even bother using them some days! (we got friendly with poolside staff- who would try and help us out.) The gardens are also used for sunbathing, that was quite nice-peaceful. Weather superb all week- not a cloud to be seen! Watch out for the woodshop man in hotel and his Magic box! (very persistent). Most things to buy are up for haggling and can drop dramatically i.e. 800dh to 80dh in two minutes.at the `english bar` makes you feel very welcome, really good atmosphere and all nations seem to drink in there. Definately recommend the camel trek it`s well worth it -would book through hotel or rep, and a visit to the souk was an experience -once was enough for me!! We took english money and changed in hotel as needed - this worked well for us. At the moment it`s 14dh to our pound. Overall a brill week in the sun with a lot of memorable sights and moments. Happy hols

Just returned from the Kenzi Europa. 4 'girls' - 1 - 18 year old, 1 - 19 year old and 2 over 50's. We all liked this hotel its location was perfect, right in the middle of Agadir. We didn't find it noisy from street noise etc. It is a very clean and friendly hotel. Staff excellent. We were all-inclusive, this didn't make any difference to the service we received. Having read reports of all-inclusive guests being treated like second class citizens at various hotels in Agadir, that is not the case here. The hotel is comfortable 3 star we found. It has a pleasant pool area and a well equiped gym. The entertainment in the evening we found mildly entertaining, we watched it most nights though so it can't have been that bad! The only thing we thought the hotel could have improved on was the food choice. The food was quite nice, but it would have been better to have had a bit more to choose from. The hotel has its own small private area on the beach with very comfortable clean sun-beds that are free. We were in Agadir for 1 week 18-25th February. The weather was hot, only 1 cloudy day. The locals are friendly and didn't pester us too much, a firm NO and they do leave you alone. We all enjoyed our week in Agadir and for what we paid it was a bargain. A week is plenty we thought as there isn't much to do

We stayed at the Kenzi from 7th-14th Jan. Myself, my husband, my sister and our 2 year old niece. I had seen the pics and video on Thomsons website and was impressed but read some negative reviews so was unsure what to expect but in all honesty the hotel was great and we had a brilliant holiday. The hotel was scrupulously clean and gardens immaculate. The rooms were spacious and beds amazingly comfy! Our rooms were a little chilly and the heating/aircon sysytems were not in use, (maybe because of the time of year?) but when mentioned to reception we were brought oil fuelled radiators within an hour. Towels were changed daily and the chamber staff were lovely. The hotel was quiet given the time of year and there were loads of sun loungers available and they are not all crammed around the pool, some are randomly placed on the greens around the hotel. The pool was heated and was warmer in the mornings. We did not spend alot of time around the pool as we found out that you can get a ticket from reception for the private lounger area on the beach. (turn left out of hotel, cross road and first block of loungers you see to your left as you face the sea). The entertainment/animation staff are so lovely, Dris, Samir and Speedy are all good guys who try to get you to join in activities (only if you want to). We played darts matches and boules. There was also table tennis and a lovely tennis court. My husband had to pay 20Dirham to play against the fitness coach there, but the court is free to use otherwise. There is a little summer house for kids where they have lego, toys, paints, some swings, a slide and a wendy house. My neice loved it and salla the kids play leader is lovely too. The food is good. typical food available was pasta, rice, chicken, fish, veg, very good salad bar. though for some reason lunchtime was usually fish? There was always loads of cakes (various sponges) for dessert and icecream and melon and clementines. (the icecream was quite synthethetic tasting and brightly coloured and maybe unadvisable if you have additive sensitive kids!!). We were a bit annoyed that we could not order tea/coffee after dinner to have at dinner table and were told to get it in the bar, and when not in the dining room you cannot order bottles of coke/sprite etc, they will only give you stuff out of the machine which was a bit syrupy! The juices are not fresh either they are the kind that are possibly made with powder and water. The wine is quite nice though quite a few glasses can be consumed before you feel tipsy and you can only have moroccan spirits on all inclusive which they free pour and is opposite to the wine!! The waiting staff in the morning and evening are lovely and will go out of their way to help. (we even managed to get a massive helping of creme caramel which never once appeared on the dessert trolley!) However the lunchtime staff are much the opposite as are the bar staff. They are down right rude and miserable and will make no discretion that they are talking about you. I guess it is because they are unlikely to receive tips from all inclusive guests. The hotel location is perfect for beach, promenade, shops, bars and is good if you cant manage hills, or have buggy or wheel chair users. The downside to the hotel is the smoking, it gets to you wherever you are!! The weather was 23 when we first arrived and it got hotter every day. It is chilly in the mornings and night though and a warm hoody or a jacket is a must.

Spent 10 gloriously hot & sunny days in mid Jan at this hotel and despite initial reservations, thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel is located across the road from the beach and is within comfortable walking distance of souks (shops), restaurants & the Marina. You can also use the "Noddy" train (just a few yards from the hotel), which, for a small charge will give you a 40 minute local tour. Not a lot to do locally, but you can go on various sight-seeing trips, horse & camel riding etc. The food at the hotel was better than we had expected and one could always find something palatable on a reasonably varied menu. Alcoholic drinks were always offered at lunch & dinner. Dancing with a resident group & entertainment was provided every evening - the Moroccan theme evening being the highlight of the week. We found the majority of staff friendly & helpful - especially if you give the occasional tip! All in all, the hotel exceeded our expectations & we had a very enjoyable stay.

Although we had torrential rain and floods, this hotel made up for this .We had a very confortable week in this hotel. The breakfasts were very good with good variety and plenty to eat.The rooms were confortable and always clean, although i would not say they rate as a 5 star, probably more 3/4 star. One of our group was in a wheelchair and the staff could not have been more helpful which made our stay even better. The lobby area and dining room were more like a 5 star rating. The beach is very close and the hotel next to a small zoo.Plenty of eating choices near the hotel including the brilliant English Pub just to the left of the hotel. We stayed at this hotel on the 14/11/09 to the 20/11/09.
