Jacaranda Golf Hotel

Jacaranda Golf Hotel

Route D Inezgane Km 4 - Agadir

The Jacaranda Golf Hotel opened its doors in 1999. The architecture and the decoration combine tradition and modern living. We offer our guests luxury and well-being. Old-fashioned technologies have been replaced by new, imaginative solutions and comfort is achieved with respect for ecology. We have 28 rooms, which are functionally and comfortably equipped. All of them have either balconies or terraces and are decorated with original paintings by local as well as German and French artists. All rooms provide 2 single or double beds, a hair-dryer and electric outlet for razors, a direct-dial telephone and satellite TV. The Jacaranda Restaurant creates dishes with savoir-faire and refined local ingredients. As you enjoy sitting in the restaurant, your gaze will linger on the spectacular view of the magnificent garden, romantically illuminated in the evening. In the shade of high palm trees, surrounded by cooling fountains, you will rest in an oasis of tranquillity. Our heated indoor swimming pool and a sauna are at your disposal. Walking along the golden beach, you will discover the beauty of the Bay of Agadir, which is about 30 minutes on foot from the hotel.

There’s a fine 4 star Hotel in Agadir, it’s a bit away from the beach, but a lifetime away in quality and value from the beach strip hotels and restaurants. We stayed there in September 2006 and would love to go back as soon as we can. The food is absolutely fantastic, chosen from a menu of worldwide and Moroccan favorite dishes, by French trained Moroccan chefs de cuisine, so you can eat what you like, not what a buffet happens to offer. They also have a grand clean pool set in magnificent and extensive gardens, and delightful carefully planned rooms in Kasbah style buildings. About two miles out of Agadir's sometimes over-touristy centre, turn right after the Royal Palace and Jacaranda is 200 meters on left beside the artisans Medina d'Agadir (a major tourism attraction, with visitors being bussed by the tour operators) for a wonderful holiday, and we were very happy with the price also.

This is a splendid place to stay. The accomodation and facilities are very good. The gardens are beautiful and extensive. The food, although quite pricey for the area is absolutely wonderful and you don't resent paying for such quality.

**HIDDEN: Duplicate review** Although reciently renovated, this very old property was run down and lacked A.C. Our room was stuffy and was aquiped with only a standing fan. We wern't given the delux room they sold us when booking. When we complained, the general manager said "you got a good deal". The owner later insulted me in an e-mail. We were very disappointed overall. although well located, try a another hotel! There are many nicer places near by.

I I am going to tell the truth all the truth and nothing but the truth. Agadir is a lovely place the Moroccan people are very friendly. The scenery is breath taking. The hotel location is very bad in a very shabby area. The walk to the beach and the centre is about 6 km.

I spent Christmas 2004 alone in Jacaranda Hotel Agadir and had a wonderful time. I played Golf most days, it was warm enough to swim in the fine very clean pool or just laze and read in the magnificent gardens, waiting for the lunchtime or dinner to come around as the food was always top class.

The service at the hotel was excellent although speaking minimal french we missed an english version of the main restaurant menu! We booked B&B and the food we had was lovely and made fresh.
