The people were pleasant but the hotel was tired. There were never enough towels; the shower had a very sparse water stream, the toilet kept running and the dining room attendants guarded the cutlery... it seemed to be almost a power trip. Nevertheless, I have stayed in a lot worse places and the service staff were all very pleasant. The location was great.

The hotel is a short taxi ride from the town centre and you have to bargain with the cabbie on the fare before getting on board. Meter is simply useless! The hotel pool is hugely popular. There is water polo in the afternoon. Every thing is compatible with a 4-star rating except breakfast which is lacking in both variety and quality.

The reception staff were totally disinterested (except the cashier - he was friendly). Breakfast was boring and of low quality, with no variation during our 6 day stay. I would commend the cleaning lady who was friendly and very thorough. Despite the reception staff attitude I would probably stay there again.

January 2007 Nice holiday hotel with enormous buffet meals. The evening meals alternate between international menus and different nationaliy menus, Spanish, Italian, Moroccan etc. It's not far from the beach and the 25m pool is heated, 24degC. We were surprised to pay a supplement for the room safe. There was no hair drier in the room and the hotel was unable to supply one. There is a guarded carpark at the back of the hotel. Friendly staff apart from some of the waiters. Wine available in the restaurant.

The Hotel was very nice and clean. A good big pool and pool area with plenty of sunbeds. The staff were very helpful. As resort hotels go it was good value. I stayed a night in the Tagadirt Hotel which was pretty awful!

Only one night's stay, but excellent room and location. Only drawback: breakfast restaurant crowded and noisy, but depends more on the guests than on the service.

The Tivoli is a nice hotel to stay in, the decor may be a tiny bit dated and worn in places but the staff, food, and value make up for this. It is located 10 minutes walk from the beach on a hillside which enables many of the rooms to have pleasant views.

I enjoyed my stay at Le Tivoli. The rooms were large and very clean - great shower - the pool area was nice, the food fine. The staff were very friendly. It was a great place for a quiet week in the sun. If you want all inclusive/english style entertainment, then this probably isn't the place for you. But that's not necessarily a bad thing. The hotel had a nice mix of different nationalities. Generally, I found Moroccan people very pleasant and got no more hassle than you would do at my local market on a Saturday, let alone a night out in Romford......
