Agadir Al Massira Airport is 24 kilometres away, and takes approximately 20 minutes to reach by car.

We are a couple in our early 60s and enjoyed our stay at Hotel Farah. The room was basic but spotlessly clean and the towels were changed every day. It was nice to have the kitchenette, especially the fridge. Balcony was small but adequate and at back of hotel so although no views it was quiet. The shower head could have done with replacing - it worked but was a bit shabby. There was one evening when we had a problem with no hot water but once reporterd it was soon remedied. Breakfast was served in the rooftop restaurant and was great - freshly squeezed orange juice, boiled eggs, rolls and croissants with jam/cheese and butter. The coffe was great too. Evening meals were served in the ground floor dining room and the food was very good. There was only one night when the service was a little slow and we were thoroughly spoilt by our waiter. All the staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful even to the extent of getting stamps for our postcards and posting them for us. Also my husband had a pair of slacks and a shirt laundered at a very reasonable cost. The hotel is a fair walk from the beach but we didn't mind that and if you were very lazy you could take one of the orange taxis. Remember that you are not in England and do not expect the same star rating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return again. It was brilliant value for money

Booked through Teletext Holidays (Complete Travel Solutions) AVOID: Complete Travel Solutions Outdated hotel, old 70s kitchen and bathroom, tiles fallen off botched up repair work with putty broken toilets and taps. taps full of limescale. horrible beds pillows like rocks no regular change of bedware or cleaning. Smelly old furniture. I complained, they gave me another room but it was the same, just a little bigger. complained to rep. he gave me a report. got back and complained to COMPLETE TRAVEL SOLUTIONS, but no refund, this is a very bad company do not buy your holidays from them. very poor service and they put you up in hotels of this nature. I think the hotel owner is taking the mickey, to be polite. solong as he can make some money, he is not bothered about updating the hotel. stay well clear of this hotel it really is the pits. I am not one for 4 or 5 star hotels and I have stayed in some dumps. but this place is the king of dumps. staff were some of the nicest people I have come across and that was the only good thing about the hotel. POOL: no pool RESTAURANT: dirty and outdated. unclean utensils EAT OUT: go to the local souk (market) this is where the locals eat, well recommended. fish galore, and dirt cheap about £2 for a Tagine (fish cooked in clay pot) 1 pot is enough for 2 people, i think.. same thing in a restaurant will cost you about 2/3 times as much. VISIT: go to Marakech, its well worth it and stay overnight. book tickets at local coach station about a fiver, cant remember exactly now. loads of cheap places to stay there. from £10. hope this helps. Javid
