Opened in 2000, the Dorint Atlantic Palace is designed as a traditional Moorish palace with round courtyards, cool fountains and palm trees, and is set two kilometres from Marjane. The 206 air conditioned guestrooms have a traditional and colourful Berber decor with cool tiled floors and colourful Moorish artefacts and authentic atmosphere. They all have either a balcony or terrace overlooking the swimming pool area, the sea or the palm plantation. All also come equipped with direct dial phones, satellite television, Internet ports, DVD players, minibars, and complimentary newspapers; ensuite bathrooms provide designer toiletries, hair dryers, bathrobes, and slippers. Guests can relax by the swimming pools and order drinks from the bar or unwind under the parasols on the private beach. For those who wish to indulge, the Thalasso Spa offers many beauty and therapy massage treatments with access to steam rooms, saunas, jetted tubs and Moroccan baths. Guests can experiment also with various foods and cuisines for lunch and dinner with a total choice of seven restaurants and bars. The executive traveller also is catered to with conference rooms, audio visual equipment, exhibit space and secretarial services to hand. The multilingual staff at the 24 hour front desk are always ready to help with any queries and offer tour assistance and currency exchange. In terms of sports available, this hotel has its own private beach 300 metres away from the main building where a great choice of water sports is offered; plus it has its own swimming pools, tennis courts and three golf courses nearby. For those who would like to go out and explore Agadir's treasures, Bird's Valley is only 1.5 kilometres away and the local Souk (open market), the old Port and Kasbah are no more than four kilometres away from the hotel. Agadir Al Massira Airport is 25 kilometres away with an approximate driving time of 25 minutes.

A beautiful hotel, very good location near to the beach and the city centre, excellent food, spacious and clean rooms, great service. There is a very good 27 hole golf course nearby.

Restaurants are very good. The buffet is a little pricey in the main restaurant; ordering off the menu is probably a better choice. Good room service. Television is available in the room although the channel selection is a little limited (but who's watching TV?). No internet in the rooms and only one computer in the business center. This is the biggest drawback. To be a modern, five-star, it MUST have wireless internet available throughout the hotel. They need to work on this. The hotel layout is the best in Agadir and the staff works hard to keep it that way. A beautiful thelasso therapy center in located on the premises. The staff is extremely friendly! If you have the money, this is THE place to stay in Agadir.
