It says 2 stars on the tin and that's what you get. 40 apartments, mixed 1 and 2 bedrooms. LOTS of UK kids and very, very noisy all day round the pool, in the evenings the bar is busy, the food very basic and very reasonable. We had a brilliant sea view, beds a bit ancient and springs starting to come through. Clean enough, linen and towells changed 3 times. Local staff very good and helpful. Goodness knows what they make of the behaviour of feral children allowed to run riot. It's a Brit hotel. Apparently going 18-30 next year! The rep was absolutely useless. Sunbeds reserved every day well before 0800, against hotel written rules. The beach was good enough though I would recommend a boat trip to Formentera. TAKE YOU OWN FOOD AND DRINK! We didn't, 6 bunless burgers and chips, 6 cokes £77 in the one and only restaurant. The beaches are shared with naturalists. Most needed ironing!! The resort is good, plenty of reasonably priced reatsaurants, every taste catered for. The apartments are basic but sufficient if you intend to eat out all day. 2 rings and a toaster, kettle and good fridge. We were a party of 6, grandparent down to the 4 year old. We had a really good holiday. THERE WERE THEFTS. You MUST use the safe in the room. The cleaners do not always treble lock the doors after cleaning. The locks are useless and the door surrounds bear the damage of being broken open. Would we go back? Possibly if as a last minute deal, but not full price.

We booked this holiday as a group of 5 friends. We booked this side of the island to be nearish to Space etc..but far enough away for it to be quiet. The apartments themselves are quite nice..i really have no concerns. They were clean enough and big enough. Our problems started when on the 1st morning when i got up at 8am to see ALL of the sunloungers covered with a towel. So...we couldnt get a lounger...however...we went and sat by the bar to soak up the 1st day atmosphere.... This is where the problems start...the pool was full of loutish yobs...pushing each other in...shouting and screaming. They had no regard for anyone else in or around the pool. We felt that there seemed to be a clique of people who go back each year to this hotel as LOTS knew each other and were all the same! From the children up to the adults...i hate to say it but it was chav city! Our saving grace was that next door at hotel mistral you can us their pool free of charge..just order food/drinks etc. So...avoid this place if you hate that kind of atmosphere...or go to this place if you wear soverigns on every finger and shout at you child every expletive under the sun! Nice!

just got back,we had a great time.5 of us went 3 adults [1partially disabled],2 kids after reading previous reviews was really worried, couldnt of wished for a better place 2 stay. appartments were clean and spacious, bar staff were helpful and friendly, food and drink was great, was supposed to be overrun with unruly kids i personaly found it was overrun with kids just having fun! would reccomend this place for famlies, or anyone who doesnt mind kids having fun.

Was expecting asbo nightmare families and terrible facilities after reading reviews but everyone was nice (some a bit chavvy but give me a chav rather than a poseur anyday). It was fine, staff were nice, rooms clean, everything worked. Although a bad family did arrive on the 6th day of my holiday and played hide and seek screaming their heads off (including mum and dad) starting at 2am for hours and were very noisy the following night too. i think one bad family can wreck any hotel but all in all i was pleasantly surprised, perfect base to get to ibiza town and figurettas and only about 20 mins walk on the beach to bora bora. Buses stop nearby going all over Ibiza Island, only one euro to get to salinas beach (fab beach). You get what you pay for and i was pleasantly surprised, also it's a thomson holidays hotel so we flew thomson air, flights were bang on time and very comfortable.

Again, I was another who was dubious about staying in these apartments after reading some of the reviews!!! However, we arrived on the first day to a gorgeous view of the sea from our balcony. The apartment was clean and tidy and had enough cooking equipment to make a few good meals throughout the holiday. It was basic but we were happy enough. The maids cleaned this reguraly and we had clean towels every 2 days. There was some noise at night with a few druken passer bys in the streets in the early hours of the morning but overall we could live with it. Looked great for kids who were up early juming about in the pool and playing games with each other at night whilst there parents had some drinks at the bar. If you fancy quite a few early nights on the holiday I wouldn't recommend it as the apartments were lively until around 1am when the familes went to bed. The location was great, Figaretus beach was less than 5 mins walk with some great places to eat and watch the world go by. Walk the other way and you stumble upon the queen vic which is a great sports bar. 10 mins walk to Playa Den Bossa, lots of bars ie irish and the cabaret bar Big Ben. Ibiza town was 10 min walk or an easy bus ride away and is fab for the clubs, bars and restaurants. Overall we had a great time, if you are looking for a really peaceful holiday though these apartments are not for you.

Me and my mate booked the day before.Cheap holiday and was pleasantly suprised. The room was more than adequate although it could really have done with air conditioning.Raychell the rep was very helpfull and nothing was too much trouble.Lucy and Titi the bar staff were fantastic good prices and good enough food (remember its only a pool bar)! Local bars within seconds away catered for all. Moby Dicks was a regular haunt with the owner Jimmy "Hyperactive Scotsman" very welcoming and willing to offer plenty of social advise. However a lot of the other guests in the Mira Mola seemed disapointed, maybe this is because they never ventured out day or night! My mate and i will talk to anyone and have the craik so it soon became clear a lot of peolpe think they deserve the best of the best (maybe they should consider an all inclusive holiday for 10 times the cost next time). We enjoyed it as did many others!!! Well done team Mira Mola! I hope Thompsons appriciate Raychell's efforts with the difficult people she deals with (I expect to see at least 2 family's on the Jeremey Kyle show soon YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE)! And i'm sure i've already seen some of the others on!!

Do you like screaming children (who incidentally should be in school), families swearing like troopers, noise 24/7, not to mention huge fights with snooker cues resulting in blood and gore and later accompanied by 6 police cars and ambulances?? Then this is the place for you! This is Chave Ville with a capital C. Any self respecting person should be advised to avoid this place at all costs. The local beach is not nice at all- nice "odour de poo" smell. What I would recommend is that if you hire a car, there are some really beautiful beaches to explore. For those people who rated this hotel as good, I am in total shock and furthermore for those who have returned more than once you must be mad!!! Dont do it to yourself- you get what you pay for!

i had read so many negative reviews we were pleasantly surprised. The apartment was clean, the staff went out of their way to help. The location is ideal just 10 mins either way to Ibiza Town or Playa Bossa. In Figuretas Mike's Kitchen did a fantastic meal, Moby Dicks bar is a must if you have teens with you, Jimmy that runs it is a legend! The Royal Oak is a nice pub too. As far as the apartments go, if you have school age children then they will love it, make lots of friends and have a great time. I would say it's not for couples and groups of singles.

Stayed at Mira Mola 19-26 May, 2007, loved every minute of it. Have read reviews on the net saying this place wasnt so good, we had a great holiday. We have stayed at Figuretas 5 times previously but not as this hotel, was a little apprehensive reading some of the reviews but we had a great holiday. Bar staff, and bar were fab, the rooms were better than we expected there was a group of 10 of us age ranging from 4 to 68 and we all had a good time. Weather was excellent rooms were clean, food around and about was great and the beaches were lovely. I have two teenage boys 13-17, they made some great mates and they didnt want to come home Dont be put off, we are looking to go again asap!!

We stayed at the mira mola for 1 week,5 may-12may 2007.Having paid only £400 for a family of 4 it was excellent! The mira mola only opened for the season the day we went so everything was fresh and clean, the apartments are basic but have everything you need for a self catering holiday. The pool area does get very busy and you have to be up at the crack of dawn if you want a sunbed, but who wants to spend all day around the pool when you've got lovely beaches on the doorstep. The bar around the pool is quite cheap and although we never ate there plenty of people did and the food looked nice. Playa den bossa is only about 15mins stroll down the prom,we spent most nights there, having small children there was more for them to do. If you want a great english place to eat joanne and darrens on the sea front is excellent, its very child friendly with toys and little tables and you can get a propper home cooked meal with mash and veg. Moby dicks on the main road to playa den bossa is great for drinks,Jimmy who runs it is a right character and brill with kids. The water park in playa den bossa is a must, something there for the little ones and adults. The only down side to these apartments is that there was no lift to the first floor in the second building, which meant we had to carry our buggy up and down a flight of stairs.Once on the first floor there is a lift to all the others, but i would recommend that if travelling with a pushchair you ask for a ground floor room. We all really enjoyed our holiday, had great weather and would definately go back again.

For our second trip to Ibiza this year, unable to stay at our normal complex. Found a Thomson deal at the Mira Mola which we knew by sight. First impressions on arrival not good, 3am in morning handed an envelope with a room key, and told we were in the block behind reception. Go outside to unlit area with no signage to be met by number of steps going to rear of the block, we wheeled our cases along the front of the block looking for the enterance and the lift. No joy we had to hump our cases up 20 steps on the outside of the building (great for a person in there 60's). Getting into our room it was obvious that cleaning and bedding did not come anywhere top of the list of items that needed attention.. Returning to reception a notice advised that it reopended at 10am, returning at 10am the first gentleman in reception wish to advise his door had been kicked in at 3.30 could he have a new door, this reinforced our initial view that the whole complex was wide open to anyone as it had no gates or doors that restricted entry. We spent one night in room 209 which has a view of the wall of the block in front, 210 next door the end room had an even worse view. Spent 6 nights in 206 which did have a sea view being situated over the pool. My partner and I love ibiza and just want a clean, pleasently furnished room, in a safe complex. On all 3 requirements these apartments fail this test. Unfortunately because of all the closing parties rooms in other complexs full. This complex is exclusive to thomsons which really sums it up. To show customer care at its best our bus was sheduled to arrive at 1.10am at 1am the bar shut, they contained the only toilets available on the site, this left 20 people including children to their own devices, never mind the security aspect of being sitting ducks. As this holiday booked by phone not sure what the brochure advices but having to climb 20 stone steps to the first floor was a struggle, doing it with cases in the pitch dark was only saved by the light from our mobile phones.

had a really lovely time here in ibiza went to costa brava this year but def wouldnt go back its made me realise how lovely ibiza is. the mira mola is ideally situatted for a beach holiday, as long as you dont want to do any cooking in the rooms thay are fine.

Just back from our eighth 2 week break at Mira Mola with my wife, 3 teenage children and baby grandaughter, we love the place. Other reviews are correct in saying that the accomodation is basic but they are reasonably clean, have a bed to sleep in, bath, shower and WC and limited cooking facilities. If you are going to Ibiza in season surely that is all you will need and you shouldn't be spending much time in the apartment. The location is excellent, in between 2 resorts, figueretas which is quiet and more for the calmer holiday and the more british and livelier Playa den Bossa. Also 20 mins from the capital Ibiza Town and good boat access to other resorts. Meal are available at the bar for a cheaper alternative but plenty of excellant restaurants/Cafes/Bars in close proximity. The staff are very friendly and well mannered, moreso than some of the guests. Tito the barman is excellent at his job and the 2 new additions Rommi and Lucy although younger work very hard. Rommi being a bit of a legend with his laid back manner and attemps to chat up the lady guests. "Is this Big Brudda ?" being a line which had 2 young ladies, watching Big Brother giggling away and falling at his feet !! He was however great with the children also and my 8 month old grandaughter fell in lover with him. 2 bad experiences being an amourous couple having sex on the balcony (the nightwatchman standing under it listening brought them to our attention. And also my daughters purse with over £200 being picked up and her credit card being used within half an hour. She posted notices around the place asking for its return with her personal items but in true honest british tradition it was not returned. Not a great deal to do with the kids in the evening and if you can put up with the basic but adequate accomodation an ideal location for a relaxing holiday on a fabulous Island. Very Satisfied Blackpool

We have just come back from a girly holiday, staying in Mira Mola! we was a litle worried on what the appartments would like like as the price we paid for the hioliday was cheap. Lucky for us the appartments where great also clean and tidy. The staff were very nice including romeo which is one of the members behide the bar!! we went to san antonieo the taxi cost 25 euros which was fine! very close to a nice beach and the swimming pool was nice except it was full of kids so we would just use the one next door. We all enjoyed our stay at mira mola and would go again!!

Just back after spending two weeks in Mira Mola, Rooms clean and spacious cleaners twice a week for bedding, towels and waste. Pool was cleaned at night by the night poter. Cafe staff vey friendly we all say hi to Tito, Rome and Lucy Lollypop you all made us feel very welcome. Just please get some new Cds. You can use the laundry room for five euros so dont pack loads. Rooms are basic but fine for what you use them for. You get a kettle and toaster etc. The beach across from the aparts is rocky but if you turn right and keep walking down past the big hotel the beach is lovely about a five min walk away. Supermarket at the top of the street is good for everything you need. Places to eat - some really nice places Jds on the beach mikes diner sunday dinners is yummy , finnigens bacon bugers r gleaming. Marcos and the Tapas place all good. The bar we went to was mobys kids loved it and Jimmy is a wee gem. He will make ya feel very welcome. Water park is a good place to go but put plenty of sunblock on. The Hippy Market is a bit pricey and a bit over rated not a bad day out bring plenty of water its very warm. Also you can get most of what is on the stalls at the beach stalls at night time same price if not a bit cheaper. If you go on the boat trip to fortamontura bring your own grub one cafe is very exspensive not recommened for kiddies they will be bored. Also put lots of sunblock on very liitle shade and you are there for a long time ( 5hrs ).

Just back last week, stayed for 2 weeks and wouldnt have a bad word to say about it! The apartments were clean and very spacious and all the staff were friendly! Rooms were cleaned every other day without fail- new towels, bed changed, floors cleaned, rubbish taken and new toilet rolls. The only thing i didint like was that there was too many kids at the pool during the day so was very noisy but there is a beach 5mins walk away which was so quiet and peaceful so just spent the 2wks there sunbathing! We were the only young couple there, the rest were families. Some lovely places to eat and bars near by or you can walk 15mins to Playa de Bossa. Would definately go back again!

The Mira Mola apartments were not nearly as bad as I had imagined from earlier reviews. It was a cheap skytours holiday for 2adults 2 kids(£800 for the week). The apartments were pretty much the same as all the other places we have stayed in the Med, 2 rings in the kitchen, no oven- but who wants to cook anyway? There was a kettle and toaster provided which is a first for us, usually they are hired out. The apartment was basic but roomy with good sea and pool views. The cleaning and towel change ws minimal. The main occupants did seem to be british judging by the amount of engerland flags and they did get rowdy after the(grim works canteen style)bar closed at midnight. I used my emergency earplugs every night until the noise settled down, however this is not uncommon in any resort(the sol y mar in majorca was worse). There are lifts but we had to get up 2lots of steps with a buggy to reach it which was a nuisance. You wouldnt want to spend all day in the complex its ugly and boring but figueretas was fine (especially at night) and Ibiza town was a breeze to get to on the no14 bus, we went there every night, it only took 5 minutes. The transfer from the airport was only 15mins so it was relatively stress free children wise. We got value for money I think, just dont expect anyone to provide entertainment, you need to sort that out yourself.

We have just returned from a week at the Mira Mola. It is true that you get what you pay for. We didn't pay very much, only booking it the day before we flew. We arrived early hours of the morning and were given directions to our apartment, but nothing about which floor etc. Having tried for around 5/10 mins to gain access to the apartment, my husband had to get assistance from reception (which we were lucky was still open, only because of new arrivals). You can only turn the key very, very slightly pulling and pushing the door at the same time in order to open it. I could not manage this at all during the week and glad that I wasn't alone. On gaining access to the apartment we found it spacious, although basic. It appeared different the following morning when we saw it in the daylight. The kitchen was well equipped with crockery, cutlery etc and no extra charge for a kettle and toaster, which we have had on most occasions elsewhere. The actual kitchen facilites themselves left a little to be desired, with some of last years cutlery and food still under the cupboards. Luckily I don't ever cook on holiday. During the 7days the towels where changed twice, beds made twice but there was no evidence at any time during the week, that the floors had been cleaned. On our return to the bedroom on the 2nd evening we had some additional guests, they appeared to be a funny looking ant and they were all along the edge of the wardrobe on the floor and on opening the wardrobe also found them inside. Having come across bugs previously on our travels, I now take a can of insect repellent. Not for our own use but to spray where the bugs come through. It works a treat. We had the odd one after this but nothing compared to that evening. We very luckily did not have the cockroaches that appeared in the ground floor apartments. This all might sound a bit off, but If you want a cheap base then this is not that bad. Tito is an ok guy in the bar, but with the other guy Pepe, it seems to depend on his mood how he is with you. The Thomson Rep Adrienne is ok, quite helpful really although she can come across as too high and mighty at times. There are great views from most of the apartments which are right at the side of the sea, with the constant flow of boats from the port of Ibiza Town which you can see constantly. It is only a 5 minute walk to the beaches and the promenade and a 15 minute walk to the centre of Playa den Bossa. Albeit we didn't find it a cheap holiday for spending with some of the prices priced at more than we pay here at home, but for a last minute cheapy it was ok. We had a nice relaxing week and recharged the batteries. The Queen Vic with Angie and Jo is good, especially for sports and the weekly soaps, but unlike others, I didn't rate Mikes kitchen at all. We had far better meals on the prom which were nicer and cheaper. Would we go back, to Figuerettes, yes, but to the Mira Mola, I'm not sure.

You get what you pay for. We had a cheap deal and so weren't expecting anything fancy. The rooms are basic, but well maintained. Cot provided for young child was good. The pool is small and there is only room for 40 or so sun beds. The bar area is basic and offers a limited fast food menu. The music was loud and repetetive - they need some new CDs! Staff were friendly and helpful, and when there was a problem with our lift it was fixed within 2 hours. There seemed to be little parental supervision, and so some of the kids got quite loud and boisterous. The 1st couple of nights the noise went on until 1am, but then settled down, usually ending about 11.30pm. The kids were well behaved whilst the Thomson rep was on site. There are two reasonable beaches a short walk away from the appartments, with a good variety of restaurants close at hand. If you want to use Mira Mola as a base to explore Ibiza it is good. If you want to let your kids run riot, ignoring them, and get a good tan whilst slobbing round the pool then it is good too. Just don't expect too much.

DO NOT STAY HERE - Dirty, noisy (walls like paper), AN ABSOLUTE HOLE - if you don't believe me read any other review on this site.

Do not stay here. Apart from being very dirty and unsafe the staff are physically abusive. After 4 days with no electricity in our apartment we complained to the tour operator in the UK after the staff at the Mira Mola had refused to do anything about it. That night we were confronted by the owner welding a base ball bat! Avoid this place.

We have just returned from a week at the Mira Mola and it is true what they say, you get what you pay for, luckily we didn't pay very much but I feel I should warn families that it is not ideal for young children. Upon arriving we where paraded to our rooms like a heard of cows by a rather abrupt lady, on arriving in the apartment we found it very spacious, although basic, it was clean enough although I did feel the bathroom could have done with abit if TLC. At night the front was very noisy with music from the bar until after midnight and the back wasn't much better with noise coming from the busy road behind, not ideal if you have young children. During the 7days the towels where changed twice, beds made twice but the floors where not cleaned. If you want a cheap base then this is for you but for a relaxing family holiday I would not recommend it.

After reading reviews on these apartments after booking the holiday, we were quite surprised when we arrived and didn't find them as bad as we expected. Our apartment was clean, equipment was basic, just 2 rings in kitchen, but then again, I had no intention of cooking whilst there! Staff were freindly and helpful, especially Tito and Pepe. Rooms were cleaned twice a week, also we had clean towels twice a week and bed linen was changed once a week. Didn't have any problem getting a sun bed, but maybe that was because of the time of year we went (September) Resort was quiet, but only 15 minute walk to Playa Den Bossa, where there was plenty to do. Beach only 5 minute walk away along street. Would we go again? Yes probably, you get what you pay for and this was a budget holiday

arrived on july 23 to august 6 apartments are dirty, small, shabby & very noisy at night with apartments to the rear and roads front and rear. bar staff were really helpfull and friendly but reception staff could not care less. apartments only cleaned to a minimum booked this through thompson and paid £2,349 should have gone to mallorca instead. this hotel ? has only one key rating and it really shows mistral hotel next door is much better and is open to non residents, good place to eat is jd.s bar & bistro on playa dan bossa beach.

Mira Mola is a complete dump. Do not think you can stay there and "rough it" because of the cheap price - you can not. It's full of rough familes and locals. There was a fight most nights we stayed the police got called most nights and a 14 year old boy was punched at the pool while the bar staff watched. Do not stay here. Also, there are lots of extra charges when you arrive which the reception staff seem to make up as they go.
I stayed here with my partner and her best friend. We knew what we were getting as we had previously stayed here 2 years ago. You get what you pay for and we didn't pay much! They had upgraded the childrens pool to accommodate bars which were to stop youngsters climbing into the larger pool (which only led to them swinging off them into it!). There is a large black iron grate in the sunbathing area which is constantly in the sun - This was a major problem as when you have kids running in/around the pool with bare feet they are prone to burning themselves on it! Also take advantage of the safety deposit boxes as we had kept passports/insurance documents in it but my partner hid her credit card in amongst here knicker drawer as did our friend with a 100 euro note - They MISTERIOUSLY disappeared from our locked room and the card used within 30minutes of us leaving for a trip to San Antonio (and strangly an hour before a repair man was hammering a screw into the door when he had a power driven screwdriver in his toolbox!!! and then quickly made a swift exit!) As this was our last evening when we found out we had spent up with no where to exchange travellers chqs - The bar staff were really helpful, even dipping into their tips so we could cancel the card/ring the police. One thing good out of it I suppose - Bar staff were always friendly and helpful (even when they had been out to opening night of amnesia and come to work the next morning!) Don't get me wrong Ibiza is a magical place, to which we will go back to but never at these apartments ever again!
