nice n cheap no internet on the top floor :(

There were no curtains, the heating was broken for the duration of our stay, the shower didn't work properly there is no bar just a restaurant downstairs. On top of that when we came back at night the door was locked so we had to wake up our friend to open the door. I would not recommend this hostel.

There were no curtains, either for the windows or the shower, breakfast was coffee/tea and toast, and there really was no kitchen. The only perk I could see was the tv in the room, but we didn't have time to watch any, so...You get what you paid for.

This hostel was amazing, everyone was very nice and friendly and the rooms were supper clean, the location was good it was a little walk to the subway but nothing too drastic, i would definatley stay here again for sure.

I was so nice to stay in there. The room was so warm. The location is perfect and near to everything especially ZOO on the next door!

The staff was very helpful and the rooms were very clean. Security seemed as good as could be expected for the area it was in. Located in the center of Amsterdam, it was a great place to stay.

Good clean rooms, great location right near the main square, red light district, and the ZOO. Friendly, helpful staff, a great hostel. Anyone who complains about the steep stairs.

They're not very kind with the people, only one of the staff. And it's not as nearer as it says, it is not in the center at all. Finally, in the web you write that they have KITCHEN SERVICE, and they only have a microwave for the guests. You have to be clear with this because we went there thinking about doing our food there in a cheaper way and we had to go to restaurants not having so much money to spend!!! Thanks.

he owner tricked me to pay for a 4 bed dorm, because there were no places left in the 6 bed dorm and than refused to check me in the dorm I paid for so I ended up sleeping in a half empty!! 6 bed dorm. Breakfast at 8am? Never. Whenever it suits them. And fromt he stories I've heard I wasn't the only one who was set up. Yeah, and they have no kitchen.

Not the greatest of hotels but in Amsterdam it was worth it for paying 25 Euro per person for 1 bedroom ensuite. Steep stairs can make yr nose bleed and no living room. Get up early for breakfast.

Very good hostel for the price and location. Would go back if travelling on a budget.

At first sight it doesn't look a real hostel.The guys at the reception are so nice and give lot of advice about the city.The city centre is15/20minutes walking or just 5 by tram,and the stop is just round the corner. The room is ok,warm,blanket warm too, maybe not the cleanest,but the sheet was ok..so no contact with the blanket. The Toilet/shower was in the room and ok. Free internet for everyone, Poor breakfast,but the price wascheap so..nothing to complain about:)

We went to amigo hotel in 8 people group and everyone was satisfyed about everything.

A good hostel especially for the price and a good location, plus the free breakfast and internet!!
