We stayed at the Hotel Boston just for a weekend and thought it very good value for money. Best described as a better class business hotel right downtown in Bari. Location is perfect just blocks to the sea, the shops and the old city. Train/coach station and the southern city beaches about a 20 min walk away. Room was not large but well furnished, air conditioned and well supplied. Staff were English speaking and charming. Will definently stay there again.

Just back from a 3 night stay at this very well located hotel. As the title suggests, we were there for football (to see Scotland play Italy) and the availability of hotels was very sparse indeed, so whilst we were happy to have one in Bari at all, we were also (in our mind) sacrificing possible quality/location/value etc. - HOW WRONG WE WERE! This hotel was fully booked during our time and the staff there were excellent - not many of the guests spoke any Italian, other than please/thank you but their staff fully understood our questions and offered their suggestions where needed - where else do you have a waiter translating the days important, early morning news???? The room we had was a triple, which was clean, functional and quite spacious - it overlooked an enclosed courtyard and was en-suite. Didn't use it, other than to sleep in but at night, it was very quite. The breakfast was buffet self service and always fully stocked, all fresh items were continually brought out, as the stock ran low. The bar (since were were Scots) was frequently in use (we didn't use the mini bar but the prices were the same as the bar - nice change there!) Finally, we were on an early morning flight out and we asked the hotel if they could book a taxi for us - which they did. They'd arranged a mini bus (I assuming possibly one of their own) and this is the touch that best summarises the quality this hotel provides....... The cost was a fixed and you were given the option to add the cost to your bill when you checked out - now, tell me, how many other hotels do that for you??? Whilst I won't have any reason to return to this area in the future, I genuinely can't recommend this hotel highly enough - if you are in the area, please try this one first, as it's quality and location are 100% spot on.

I only stayed here at The Hotel Boston for one night with a ferry to catch the folowing day and didn't really have very high expectations. I was therefore more than pleasantly surprised to find an immaculate, modern, chic town centre hotel with all the facilities as advertised. The staff also deserve a special mention, friendly and helpful despite my almost total lack of Italian. Internet connections in the rooms would have been a big plus but the internet station in the lobby gave me the access I required. The hotel is just slightly out of walking distance for the port and the railway station if you have luggage, but no problems if you are travelling light. I would definitely stay here again and would even consider it as a base for a longer visit to the region.

Bari, Italy gets few American tourists that travel independently. Most of its visitors are day tourists from cruise ships. This is an interesting city with a wonderful "old town". Unfortunately, one is always reminded to watch their personal belongings, especially at night. The hotel we stayed at is the Boston Hotel, a three-star hotel which was clean, well-run and had an attentive staff. The price included a very nice continental breakfast.

Very good, reasonably priced hotel in the city centre. Rooms are not very big, but spotless and well kept. Good, also reasonably priced, mini bar. Plenty of fresh towels and toiletries in the bathroom. Cable and sat Tv, free internet point in the lobby. Excellent fresh coffee at breakfast. Staff invariably accommodating and nice. Although there were mostly business people -like me- when I was there last week, I would recommend this hotel even for a short holiday or extended weekend to this beautiful city. It is close to the old town and to the best eating places.

This hotel was in the center of the city, so easy to get to multiple locations. A 10 minute walk to the Adriatic. Very Clean. Contemparary look. Staff was exceptionally accomodating. Complimentary breakfasts were wonderful and the room price was very reasonable. Great feature....free use of the internet in hotel lobby! To keep you connected to friends / family in the states. This hotel was like the Marriott Courtyards in the states (no frills but very nice) catering to business travelers, but it was very nice for vacationing, too. I stayed two weeks and loved it!
