This was a hotel that was conveniently located and very comfortable. Literally three minutes walk from the Dijon Ville railway station and a five minute brisk walk to Centre-Ville, the Campanile is situated on a street packed with restaurants, patisseries, take away places and other hotels. The room was far bigger than I had expected with a very comfortable bed and a large adjoining bathroom with a spacious vanity bar and a deep bathtub... great! The decor was simple and practical with adequate cupboard / hanging space, a work bench (and free wifi) tea/coffee facilities and a flat screen TV. For convenience and comfort it was a great choice and not too expensive (just over 50E per night). I didn't use the restaurant, but buffet breakfast was available for 8E and "formule" dinners from about 10-16E. I had little to do with the staff, but my impression was that they were helpful and pleasant.

Stayed here for 2 nights with 3 university friends for a weekend reunion while we were all working in different parts of France. Super value - we each paid 50 euros for the 2 nights, I have paid more than that to stay in youth hostels! We had 2 interconnecting rooms - this was great the first night but when our room was cleaned the next day the door was locked - we asked for it to be opened but they appeared to have lost the key! Hotel is in an excellent location, a 2 minute walk from the train station but also very close to the main shopping streets. Breakfast a little pricey but fine, although probs better just to go to a local cafe. Did not dine in the restaurant otherwise, but had a few drinks in the bar. Recpetion staff genereally very helpful, stored our luggage for us on the last day no problem.

Stayed one night on long coach journey back to UK from Spain. Unlike previous review we (Leger Holidays) had the full normal cold buffet breakfast. Chain is similar to UK Premier Travel Inn, room nothing out of the ordinary but okay for one or two night stop. Sleep might be difficult in summer months due to noisy road at front and poor light stopping qualities of curtains. Very well situated near public transport, eateries etc. Bar Leffe on the corner under hotel has some good Belgian beers (Chimay etc.) but about 5 Euro a time. In all a good first experience of this budget chain.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. Rooms are OK. Location is not bad either. Walking distance to the Palace and 1 min. from the train station. When windows are opened can be very noisy from the traffic. If you are driving factor parking price into the hotel stay. It was about extra 7euros per night. They had problems with Expedia reservations. I am glad I called hotel a week in advance to make sure. We just found Dijon sort of average city to stay in.

Located opposite train station, several bars/kebab shops along the street. Rooms are small but comfortable, with airconditioning and clean bathrooms. We stayed as part of a large group and were disappointed with the breakfast; whilst everyone else was allowed to help themselves to the extensive buffet, we were pushed away into a corner and given only a limited amount of a few items, and were not allowed orange juice, fresh drinks, jams etc. This spoilt an otherwise satisfactory stay.
