Garden Hotel is not a good value for your money unless you like an old hotel with dirty carpet which needs to be replaced, TV with 5 channels 2 in English no remote, TV was at least 10 years old, A/C was average not very cold, shower was oaky but shower head need replacing, 2 bath towel, 1 hand towel, no wash cloth, bed was clean and firm, I think they change sheet after 5 days, check-in was okay, staff was not friendly or helpful, breakfast was terrible not the typical American breakfast you would expect, pool was the best thing going but no towels available, you must bring one from your room. If you are looking for a place to sleep and shower and inexpensive then go for Garden Hotel. If you expect more from the facility and staff then Garden Hotel is not for you. It's about a 15-20 minute walk to Orchard.

The Garden Hotel has seen better days. It seems like they're letting it go to tear down and rebuild at some point in the future.

One pool green, the other on the roof clean but one ripped umbrella, no shade, 3 towels then no more. Breakfast was absolutely terrible, eggs - boiled only, bacon - spam, the rest hopeless. Atrium is a permanent kitchen in the midst of plastic garden chairs and tables. Cleaning ladies were very nice, but the rest of the Hotel service was not helpful, had to ask for everything, like pulling teeth. Location very good, bus service on time, good. Rooms dirty, old, and noisy if facing atrium. Although reasonable price it was not value for money, because the rest was so poor.

It's a good hotel and not very expensive with breakfast included.The pool is nice too!
