Very good experience with this hotel.

Good room, great gym and pool, but restaurant service was poor.

The location for us did not really meet our needs however being so close to the airport was good.

I like to stay here on short trips to Singapore. It's near the airport but the area still has the feel of 'Old Singapore'

Very nice and clean hotel.Big rooms and great food.Can geta little expensive as the rates o up and down on a frequent basis.35 mins to the city but great for the airport.

Not a beach front Hotel Beach and park, rent a tandem bycycle and cycle through the seafront park along the beach in the cool shade of the trees. Visit Jacobs Cafe just down the road from the hotel, great food and great staff. The owner published a good book on local cafe life, available from the Cafe too.

Handy to airport Hotel is convenient for airport not for town. Executive floors are better than regular. Internet and breakfast can be extra and costly on regular floors. Staff are helpful

I'll be back someday maybe please improve hotel service especially reguler transportation to center of the town

Not 4 Star Certainly not a 4 star hotel. Room did not include any complimentry water bottles or even shampoo. Air conditioning thermostat did not work, it was either on or off- no adjustment. Shower had mold. Fitness center was "fair". Some nice treadmills but bike did not work, could not adjust channel or volume on TV even though I was only there. Less expensive than some hotels but beware it is not a 4 star hotel...maybe 2 star.

Very nice hotel. If you wish to stay in town , don't go here. If you want a good hotel near the airport it's ideal. They have free shuttle bus to airport every hour, so you can go by MRT into town from there. Very easy. Because it's out of town it's very good value for money. For the price it's easily the best hotel in Singapore. I would choose it every time. It's right in Changi village, good food available in the village, bars, restaurants, much cheaper than in town.

Changi Village The best thing going for this hotel is the location. Being so close to Changi Airport makes this hotel more convienient than others. That was my first reason for choosing this hotel. That being said, Changi Village is a comfortable, clean, friendly hotel, worth staying at no matter where it is located.

Room was really nice to look at and not the standard hotel lay out, so it sticks in my memory. I had a nice stay. Breakfast wasn't as good as one would expect in a hotel of that standing.

Good location for airport This hotel has a free shuttle service running to and from Changi airport.

I had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay there with my girlfriend. Just one gripe though. One particular staff at the front desk for web check-ins talked to me in a rather authoritative manner. Not having the customer's interest as the first priority. Other than that, all good.

The hotel was very clean, secure and despite the airport was really close , surprisingly quiet . We travelled with our 11 month old son and we worried about the noise level previously . Staff was very flexible about extend our staying until 6 pm due to our fly out 9.45pm. Popular shopping areas about 25 minutes from Village Hotel but free shuttle service to the city and to the airport all add its value . Good price to stay.

The Changi Village was the perfect hotel for location as it was close to the airport and the facilities were just what we wanted. Absolutely the BEST pool I have experienced in any hotel. The days spent there were the answer for both my sister and self.

Nice hotel, service could be better We had a great one-night stay. A unique hotel with a good location near the beach and airport. The only negative was the service... - Check-in was quite slow and the hotel was not very flexible with an early check-in - Calls to front-desk went unanswered

1) You heard every sound in the next room which was very annoying. 2) Maintenance (hammering) was going on all night which made it difficult to sleep

Ideal stopover as close to airport. Unfortunately it rained so we were unable to explore the vicinity!

We had stayed at this hotel near 20 years ago and liked the location then as we do now. The room we had on our 1st stay on the 6th March was disappointing as it had a strong smoking smell about it, which the staff tried to fix with a room freshner. The 2nd stay 20-21st was better, room A1, staff very friendly and breakfast excellent. Easy to commute to CBD via double decker bus & train from interchange. If back to Singapore will stay there again for sure. John & Judi Lamprell.

I requested non-smoking room, but the room I stayed had smell of smoking. The receiptionist and telephone operator were not friendly at all. I will not stay this hotel again. Never again.

Really enjoyed sunrise swim in roof top infinity swimming pool. Beautiful. Room spacious and clean and breakfast was excellent. location was further away from city centre and airport than we had thought!

A modern hotel, light and airy. Included breakfast was excellent. However, restaurant and bar not accessible to wheelchair users. Bar prices very high - a beer at a bar 5 minutes walk was one third the price. Easy walking to lots of food outlets and bars and shops. Taxi into Singapore easy or use MRT and buses; more colourful and a better chance to view the scenery, but not as quick. Felt completely safe walking around the area. Charges for casual use of wireless internet were high - minimum period 1 hour even for 5 minutes use.

Free shuttle took 15 minutes to hotel. Leaves ternimal 2 on 20 minutes to the hour. Room was small but very nice, modern and clean. I think they must have recently refurbished them. We had a 7th floor room with a beautiful view out to the sea. They wanted S$40 extra for a balcony but for a one night stopover didn"t bother. Other rooms face into the internal atrium. There are many cheap eating places as well as a local foodcourt within 3 minutes walk from hotel. Breakfast was good with a cook to do the eggs as you want them. Free shuttle runs on the hour to terminals 1 & 2 with a free shuttle to ternimal 3. Good hassle free stop over on the way home.

I did not like the adjoining room door--I could hear everything my neighbors were doing and saying at 0230 in the morning. I could not go back to sleep. very bad expereince.

If you are going to the airport early in the morning this place is ideal.

Although this hotel was a fair distance from the City, good public transport links made it reasonable. The area by the ferry terminal is very pleasant, food market close by. A few gripes though, no mini bar, internet very expensive, staff at breakfast not attentive (ran out of food, had to wait quite a while to be replenished)

Being able to leave luggage after checkout, and the facility to change prior to catching late night flight.

Rooms were bigger than our expectation.Front Desk was very nice, there was some confusion regarding type of room but it was resolved within minutes and i got the room which i was booked for by Hotel Travel.Location is good as near airport and also close to sea beach with lots and lots of food courts and small resturants.City is bit far though (around 25 -35 minutes drive).Room Service was not good, took very long and order was wrong.Also so many times no body picked the call when dialling operator,in house dining or housekeeping. Breakfast average. Still overall good place to stay

I have not saied at hotel much longer but when i booking the room i have mentioned we are three people & baby thats what we paid but third bed is not there after asking the bed they have put the bed then there is no room in the room i'm not happy about that

Because I had an early morning flight, I found this hotel to be very convenient. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very good room .... clean, quiet and a good size. Food was expensive in hotel restaurant; but then again so is everything in Singapore. Singapore is an exciting city and would return to this hotel when I visit at a later date.

Although the exterior has had a beautiful makeover and has a wonderful facade, it is really not very special when you stay there. The roof pool is good the main pool is a fishbowl. Please be careful when you try to reserve this hotel because although it says free bed for kids under 12 you will not be able to input this on the system and ended up costling a lot more than anticipated.

Location is good if you want a getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. Good relaxing environment with short walk to the beach. Lots of local food available in hawker centre, reasonable priced seafood located below apartments.

last minute reservation due to transit hotel being full, can say it was a good decision. free airport shuttle service was prompt, staff extremely friendly, room was good for our needs (family of 3) comfortable beds, good sized bathroom, all spotlessly clean and the breakfast had so much to chose from we were well fuelled for our onward flight. Changi Village is a little out of the way, but on reflection we would have spent the 2 transit days to Aus at begining of our holiday there quite happily also, and transported into town. wealth of small shops and restaurants around the corner, loads of bargains to be had in the few short evening hours we had there. would recommend the hotel and would happily stay there again.

Another great place to stay if you're on transit in Singapore. Location is a bit far from the city but very, very close to the airport... so if you need to leave early in the morning, this is the place for you!

This hotel looks very cool on arival but I noticed the rooms are starting to show a little wear since I stayed two years ago. Still ok though. Staff helpful but it was a very short stay so no chance to try out the facilites

nice and friendly service with good cleanliness. Suggest to have the complimentary fruit plate daily rather than only on arrival.

Good hotel for stopover. Close to airport. Great swimming pool. Food a little expensive but many local food places available outside hotel.

Nice room setup. Very clean environment and felt very comfortable resting. However, would like to inform if there is any way to improve on the pillow texture. Personally I think the pillow is too soft. If we put 2 pillow on top each other, it will be too high. May be can improve on that.

Love the surrounding, you can take a ferry ride to nearby islands for biking trips, so peaceful and relaxing, recharge yr batteries

Hotel staff where friendly and courteous, hotels location makes it very convenient for people working at the airport. I would have no hestitation in staying at the Changi Village Hotel Singapore again.

This is my third stopover at Changi Village Hotel. It is always very relaxing away from the bustle of the city and close to the airport and beach. The service is equal to any that I have experienced throughout Asia.

No mini bar in the room. This was very unacceptable. The room was a bit tired and on the small side. actually, my wife was not very impressed with the standard of the room.

Free shuttle bus to airport a great service. Location to restaurants, cafes and shops excellent. As we had an early morning flight a breakfast box was packed for the two of us to take to the airport.

18 dollars for two cups of coffee from the bar. (1100hrs)

The hotel was clean , close to the airport but we had to wait thirty minutes for the airport shuttle to arrive. We had booked a king size bed but there was none available when we arrived. Breakfast was great and included in our room charge. The next day we had to go to the airport (the domestic terminal) and the free shuttle left us stranded at the international terminal with all of our bags refusing to take us five minutes down the road. We had to lug all of our bags down three escalators and then wait for a bus to take us to the budget terminal - I was not happy!

Very expensive as we were there for a 12 hour stopover. Arrived 8.00am left hotel at 7.00pm on Monday 4th december

Service is not half bad. Staffs are generally friendly. Free upgrade of rooms.

Very good choice before flight (just 15 min to the airport with 24 hours shutle. Great place to get local food and drink cheap right beside the hotel with huge selection.

Loved it. Great to be by the beach although not suitable for swimming - roof top pool brilliant substitute. Minimalist decor in hotel, fantastic bathroom. Free shuttle bus to airport. Felt as if we were in the real Singapore not in the tourist area. Very near to ex RAF camp and to Changi Golf Course. Worth visiting Changi Museum which is short bus ride away and as local bus depot not far away easy to get bus to nearest tube station. Would definitely go here again.

I work in the travel industry and this is one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in! The rooms have red lights on all night in the entrance and bathroom, rooms are very small, you burn your arm when turning hot water on in shower - no way of not putting arm thru water. Heard a neighbour having a bath at about 2am - paper thin walls. A long wait checking in and out. Airport bus left early and had to pay for taxi. A very expensive night for a short term stay!!

Very convenient to airport. Excellent, efficient staff. Shuttle to airport prompt. Nice rooms and very quiet. Small area with restaurants and shops within walking distance. Great choice for a one or two night overlay.

Far away from town shopping and can't even find a super market around. Food in restaurant is bad. Must go in town for dinner. There is no good restaurant nearby either. Hotel is only good for leisure stay.

Reception and breakfast staff excellant. The Italian restaurant 8th floor, service appalling, the manager when approached was not interested on my complaint. The restaurant was not busy. I wonder whether it was because I was alone dining. Be aware that a lot of rooms (entrance) overlook the lobby and foyer. they have pop music playing from early morning until 2200hrs. This can be heard quite plainly in the rooms. I asked for a move, which they requested. I will not be recommending the hotel to friends.

Hotel is nice refurbished, but I had a company in my room (a small lizard on the ceiling). Also I noticed no vacuum cleaning in my room, but due to jetlag and not much time spending in the room I took this into account. Also thing that bothered me were some long black hair that did not belong to me in the room. OK, bathroom was clean, breakfast is nice, but be prudent with internet, I paid for 24h but was able to connect only once. Despite all critics, staff is very friendly and that can compensate all other minuses if any.

Hotel chosen because of its location away from the city. Being away from city traffic, with its inherent noise and to a limited extent, pollution, is the main attraction. Being able to walk on the beach is an additional bonus. Visiting the city area is a simple exercise; taxi service for those in a hurry or public transport for those with more time on their hands. Rather a long time to check in as there are only two small reception desks for both checking in and out. My actual room had a couple of little niggles (Aircon thermostat not working, room safe required a new battery and security bar on the room door broken). Room safe made good within thirty minutes but the other defects were not immediately apparent. In fairness to the hotel, as my stay was only three nights, the other defects were not reported. I did not fancy a room change.

I stayed over for one night because of my flight connection. The hotel is a 15 min shuttle-ride from the airport. Shuttles are provided free of charge by the hotel and can be booked at the hotel reservation desk in the arrival area of changi airport. All in all a very customer friendly and easy to use service.

Some upstairs common areas looking a little tired, but overall an excellent hotel, close to the coast and market type food outlets. Highly recommended.

This hotel is great for short stayovers as it is located close to the airport, but it is far from the city sightseeing spots. It is only 15 minutes from the airport and provides a free airport-hotel shuttle service. I recommend the open cafes (cheap and cheerful) near the hotel for casual dining.

The best feature is convenience to airport. Very close by taxi so very good spot to lay over while connecting through Singapore. Rooms are modern, very clean and comfortable.

i like the location, near the changi. taxi driver was a bit upset because it's too close to the airport but i give him 5 dollar extra for him and he smiles. room is clean, new, modern. not bad at all for one night transit hotel.
